In a beautiful countryside setting, comfortable bed.
We were in a room that was a bit shabby, a disabled room with a toilet riser seat grab rails and pull down bars. We did not request this. No sanitary bin in bathroom. The room was not as clean as expected.

we all met up for a family celebration, as we are distributed all over the country, the hotel organised everything for us, from arrival afternoon tea with champagne, to hot evening buffet on the first night , and family meal in a private dining room the second night, we had an amazing time
That we all had to leave after 2 x days, we have said the next time it needs to be longer.3 or 4 days, the hotel said they could organise a whisky tasting or wine tasting for us, or off site clay pigeon shooting.

We booked a garden room, with patio doors , which had its own seating and patio area, which during this nice weather was amazing, who needs to go abroad ? we even sat and watched the sun set one evening
Not all rooms have patio areas, as our friends booked a standard room, which did not have the patio area, we booked a garden room, which did have a patio area, so ask for a garden room (they are a little bit more expensive, but well worth it with this lovely weather.

Beautiful location and the room was decorated accordingly
Unfortunately the bed was uncomfortable and too small.
Breakfast was expensive based on the food available for selection
