The location was excellent, near the harbour , train station and bus station.
The staff were friendly, the hotel was quiet.
The room was stuffy , we couldn't ventilate it enough so it was too warm at times.
We tried tthe fire escape door out into the yard but couldn't open it because it opened inwards and fouled on the aluminium carpet retainer which should have been a FLAT strip of aluminium.
I think there should have been a fridge.

The shower room was a good size and spacious. The bedroom was exactly the same. Both room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfy (maybe an extra pillow in the rooms is needed). Did love how you had 2 doors between the toilet and bedroom.
Could do with updating a little but that didn't put me off, warm in the room even with the window open. Apart from that, excellent value for money.

Actually the room and bathroom were a good size and very private being in the basement. Everything was clean. The front door and door to the room arrangement worked very well. Was better than I had expected.
The TV was not tuned in so couldn’t get any ITV. Also the previous people must have taken the adapter for the bedside table so the light couldn’t work. Might be a good idea to put a plastic tray under the kettle/ cups to keep that nice wooden top dry.
