A perfectly nice hotel, but not exactly close to the city center — about 15 minutes by S-Bahn from the main railway station, although unfortunately it only runs every 20 minutes. The staff is friendly, the location is quiet, and the rooms are fairly basic but have everything you need. A big advantage is that there is a supermarket in the same building downstairs.
The cleaning staff were making noise in the hallways even before 8 a.m. on the weekend, banging doors and talking loudly. I understand that they have a job to do, but they could have been a bit quieter and perhaps started a little later, at least on weekends.

It was helpful to get rooms near each other. They were set up as singles which when we would have preferred doubles
Smoking seemed to be acceptable. The place stank. It was also quite noise as opposite a garage and parking lot
