Welcoming environment, when our train was late they emailed ensuring we knew how to gain access as Reception was closed. Comfortable beds, amazing shower and fabulous buffet breakfast
Just a little warm despite having a fan running in our room. Our ground floor room also noisy with people talking in the street outside late at night

Located a little way out of the Old Town and central points of interest in Munich (apart from the adjacent Octoberfest location!), this hotel is nested in a perfect spot for those interested in a less stressful environment and a willingness to walk and grab adjacent transport hubs to travel where they want to go.
Apart from being a truly 'boutique' hotel with none of the annoying 'corporate' or branded hotel trappings, the best thing about the hotel is the staff! They are amazingly kind and accommodating.
We stayed with friends and colleagues whilst in Munich for 9 nights (attending a conference and adding some holidays) and the consistent kindness of the staff (shout out to Tobias the barman) shone through.
The hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurant choices and a shopping centre.
In terms of amenities, the rooms are comfortable and with most things you need. However, a fridge and improved towels (fairly thin) would have pushed my rating higher. I'm not sure why the hotel owners haven't decided to match their standards elsewhere in terms of these two items.

Lovely place, staff could not have been nicer. We booked here because it was an old Villa as opposed to modern building & price was great for Munich, at least for our room, small but just fine. Heatwave was in Munich, but with fan, it was comfortable, beds great. 30 minutes to most places for tourism, but we like walking, so.............no issues. I would recommend it!
