Loved the decor, the location as it was a stones throw from the main train station, underground station, tram stops and the sightseeing tour bus starting point. The staff were super helpful - I arrived in Munich about 3 hours before check-in and heading to another hotel (closer to the event I was in the city for) and I was allowed to leave my luggage at the hotel so I could go and explore the beautiful city of Munich.
In the evening I enjoyed a delicious cheesecake in the hotel’s restaurant and reviewed the menu potentially for lunch the next day. Viewing the menu gave a clear indication of their political stance and with what is currently happening, my conscience won’t allow me to use the hotel or restaurant chain again.

It feels homely, you don’t brush up against business travellers, this is a hotel made for private guests. The staff at check in were very chatty and friendly, this makes a big difference.
Would prefer a Nespresso machine for coffee but equally that doesn’t suit the quirky vibe. I “think” I managed the filter coffee system but at 5AM learning it wasn’t entirely fun.

- location is convenient coz it’s walking distance to the train station
- The first room they gave me is extremely dirty, yes, dirty. The floor was greasy, you hardly relate it to any other 25 hr.
- After the first night I told them about the issue, they have kindly upgraded me to a “bigger” room, but the drain in the shower is clogged, the bathroom is flooded everytime you take a shower. Coz I have one more night and I don’t want to change again so I told them I’ll live with it, please clean it.
- No refill for tissue, and the cleaning service did not even take the garbage out. The wet slippers still there, and I asked for a kettle but never delivered to my room.
It has the element of 25 hr but it is really below expiration, in terms of the cleanness.
