Room was quiet, comfortable, spacious, and very clean. I especially appreciated that there was a small fridge, a kettle, and cutlery available. The hotel had absolutely amazing breakfast - tons of variety and all so tasty. The selection of fruit was particularly great - pineapple, cantaloupe, apricots, and occasionally some red currant. Amazing!
The hotel is conveniently located close to the center and the train station. However, the walk to the center, while brief, is through a bit of a sketchy area. The hotel itself is fantastic.

The breakfast at Schiller 5 was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The happy hour was a nice plus, and we got to talk to some interesting people. The bathroom was good except for the lighting at the sink, which seems to be a common problem in European hotels.
The lighting in the kitchen and by the closet was a bit lacking. The kitchen was nice, but there were no paper towels or any cleaning supplies, so we couldn't wash any glasses or cutlery that we used. And, of course, having a duvet on the bed was useless, they're much too hot, another typical failure of almost all hotels. However, the staff readily provided us with a single sheet, which was a big improvement.
