Good location, friendly helpful staff, good menu selection for breakfast and evening meals.
Would prefer a King size bed especially with the hot weather we've been experiencing but overall an excellent stop over.

It was quite peaceful no people shouting or drunk.
The food was amazing especially the scrambled egg.
The staff was very polite and I could have a conversation without feeling awkward.
I was asked every morning if there was anything I need in our room..
Never got disturbed.
I loved the fact that it was a peaceful environment and you could hear the wildlife ie the sheep.

The hotel was in a good location for us to attend a wedding at a local church.
The breakfast was cooked to order of good quality and hot. I congratulated the staff on the quality of the breakfast and I heard my message being relayed on to the chef.
The bar and the kitchen was closed at 4pm . No light meals were being served prior to this after check in- only carvery which had to be booked!.. We were made aware that the bar and the kitchen was closed at 4pm after we had booked. A breakfast menu was provided. For hot food the choice was a full English breakfast and that's all. There were juices , water and tea and coffee, however there was only one glass per person. There was no hot water in the sink- only in the electric shower.
We left the door open to outside as it was a beautiful day. Right outside our door was a round table where the staff congregated for breaks and to smoke.
When I turned the shower on in the morning a member of housekeeping shoute to my daughter" is the shower on". My daughter answered yes and the lafy said that she was drying towels in the dryer and the shower would trip the switch!!
