So wonderful and peaceful! I couldn’t recommend more :)
The actual room was super cool! It’s a storage container… the bathroom was clean and nice, the bed was super comfy, the temperature was amazing at night. Do be aware that it is a 15 minute tuk tuk to Ella and Ella is a tourist trap so prices of tuk tuk are around 1,300 LKR each way. It is up a hill so make sure you can walk a little. For me it was all worth it to wake up in the clouds. The owner was INCREDIBLY kind and helpful, arranging buses and transport, doing laundry (super clean and crisp), making tea and breakfast. Overall it was great. If you are looking to lay in a hammock in a quiet and peaceful place this is it.

I really enjoyed my stay at Box on Clouds. The breakfast was delicious, and the peaceful location made it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The host was extremely kind, respectful, and welcoming, and provided us with lots of useful information and recommendations. I truly appreciated the hospitality and would be happy to stay here again. Highly recommended!
There was nothing I didn’t like. I really enjoyed my stay and had a wonderful experience.

Incredible views and nice personnel!
It’s a little bit far away from the city, but it was no problem for me since I had a tuk tuk
