Had a great Friday night with owners Leslie and John, and two other guests. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, whisky tasting was unexpected but quite entertaining! House was easy to find; good parking; room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Company was the best part though and the guesthouse was quirky and right up my alley. Would stay here again - drive to get there through Cairngorms with the purple hills was beautiful, and Leslie thoughtfully called me early evening to see if I was interested in dinner when I arrived.

Gordon House is by far the most homely hotel I have ever visited and particularly the second night there was an utter delight. Les & John introduced us to their lovely friends who dropped by from Munich with a bottle of Penninger Schnapps (who knew!) and the evening was thoroughly magical, with much fun and laughter had by all. If you are looking for a non-standard hotel experience where you will be treated like family then this is for you. I laughed so much that I felt like I done a thousand sit ups the next morning! Les & John we salute you!

nice greeting with a wee dram, very friendly hostess
Old style BnB eating with hosts and there friends. The other guests were slightly odd. We prefer a dning room and our own table.
