Costanza was such a charming and informative host! We took many of her recommendations for cultural and historic sites as well as restaurants, and all were wonderful. She arranged airport pickup and dropoff also, and both were seamless.
The apartment was comfortable and easily walkable to many museums, Trevi fountain, and the Spanish steps. Barberini metro is only 2 blocks away, making it easy to get farther afield quickly. The bed was comfortable and the living/dining area offered plenty of space for a couple. The washing machine in the unit worked well and allowed us to travel light.
Would recommend to anyone for a relaxing Roman holiday.

My husband and I stayed at this apartment in October of 2023, our stay was WONDERFUL! First of all, our host, Costanza, was 5 star! She communicated with me 2 weeks prior to our arrival to ensure check in details which I deeply appreciated. She met us in person to check in and cover details of the apartment. She also gave us plenty of tips and covered a local map with us. She was very attentive during our stay. The apartment is charming, warm, beautifully decorated and clean. The layout of the bathroom was also great and worked well for 2 people. The bed and pillows were also very comfy! The location of the unit was perfect for us! It is on a quiet street with local charm and very close to several key sites including Trevi Fountain. The view from the apartment windows is gorgeous! There are 2 restaurants right outside the apartment, we ate at both, they were excellent! Do not hesitate to stay here, book it! We will absolutely stay here again!

The owner/manager of the property was such a wonderful communicator, which I have come to appreciate so much on this trip where I'm staying at a number of VRBOs. Whenever I had a questions, she was quick to respond with very helpful answers. There are many restaurants close by. Two of my favorites were her recommendations: On the pricier/fancier side was Life Ristorante (SO DELICIOUS and spacious and classy) and the other seemed like more of a local favorite, Trattoria Della Stampa (again, SO DELICIOUS!!! Especially their eggplant...but not nearly as many tables available. While I was there, I saw them turn away people every five minutes who did not have a reservation, not an exaggeration). There is no elevator at this lovely place, so if you have heavy luggage, it'll be a bit of a to do getting them up three flights of stairs. But I had just one carry-on and a backpack so it wasn't bad. I felt very safe here. The keys worked great, the doors sturdy. The bathroom was beautiful but small. There was a washing machine and a drying rack! Yay!! The living room felt very spacious to me. There is no view from the bedroom, and the bedroom is pretty small, but the bed was big and comfortable. AC in both rooms. The kitchen looks very modern, it is very clean.... and stayed clean because I can't cook, sadly:) I would stay here again when I'm in Rome.

We loved the location and the host was very friendly. She provided recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants and arranged car service from the airport. It was a fantastic first trip to Rome.

Costanza was a great host. So thoughtful. There was a map and list of useful tips and addresses for us. She arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport and offered great suggestions about getting to the train station as we left town. The apartment was very clean, comfortably cool and so quiet at night even though we were very close to restaurants, cafes, shops, Trevi and the Spanish steps. I would absolutely stay here again and again!

We visited in late April early May and it is a wonderful appartment, located close to the Spanish steps and other tourist sites in Rome. Most things to do are well within walking distance. The view from the sitting room window offers the road to the Spanish steps in one direction and Guardini Quirinale in the other. There is a convenience store very close by for all your needs. There are also several restaurants close by.
Constanza received us at the appartment quite early in the morning and the driver arrangement she has is very convenient and reasonably priced.
If you are so inclined, there is a kitchen with everything needed for cooking.
Checkout was as easy as leaving the keys on the table and closing the door behind us. The driver was very punctual, very early in the morning, which was great.
A few things to be aware of: if you have trouble walking up stairs the appartment is up three flights of pretty steep narrow steps. And there are three steps up from the hallway to get into the bathroom.
Asking about the trash pick up/drop off would be smart. We asked the lady downstairs and she said to leave it on the street corner. We thought that was unsanitary, in hindsight we should have just asked Constanza, so we left quite a bit of trash behind mostly just plastic, paper and glass waste in the appartment, not ideal, but we thought that the cleaning service would handle that.
Overall a lovely stay. We sure hope we can come back.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. Clean, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The property is in a great location-we were able to walk everywhere. There are also plenty of taxis driving by all the time. It is close to many restaurants and we always felt safe walking around at night. I highly recommend this property, in part, because of the kindness and honesty of the host, Costanza. When we checked out, we accidently left a wallet containing several hundred US dollars/euros cash in a dresser. By the time we realized, were already on our way to the next city and were unable to return to the apartment. Costanza went out of her way, and took time out of her days, to return the money to us. We are so grateful to her for that. Costanza, and her lovely apartment, helped to create a wonderful first trip to Italy!

Location is great for getting around the city, short walk to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Right next to the market and a taxi stand. Little shop downstairs offers wine and bottled water. Costanza was a wealth of information and offered great recommendations.

Great apartment, great experience
Apartment exactly as described - a 5 minute walk from Trevi Fountain in one direction. Spanish Steps in another, pleasant 7 minute walk to Spanish Steps metro stop. The apartment is in a solidly built and very old building, thus a narrow front door and 2 flights of stone stairs leading to apartment. Host Costanza was so nice, absolutely wonderful to work with, from having arranged a car to pick us up at the airport, to being available by phone to guide our jet-lagged selves through the airport to the waiting driver; her instructions for the apartment were very clear and well organized. She offered great suggestions for activities and restaurants in the neighborhood, had a couple of chilled water bottles and a little map waiting for us, and was immediately available to iron out a small problem with the hot water. Everything worked flawlessly in the apartment, which was spotlessly clean. The bedroom is very quiet, very comfortable bed; sofa bed also very comfortable, easy to set up; those who sleep in that room should be aware that it looks out on a city street and be prepared with earplugs and a sleep mask - then all will be well! Thanks, Costanza, for a wonderful experience. Ciao!

When can I come back?
For my first trip to Rome I couldn't have imagined a better location to explore the city. A mere five minutes walk to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps, I was able to walk everywhere else I needed to get within 25 minutes max.
Working with Costanza was so easy and a dream. Her check-in orientation was very helpful and all of her restaurant recommendations were spot on - even returned to one of them for a late night bite for my final night in Rome. On my day of checkout I spaced on the checkout time -- thought it was an hour later than it was. When the cleaners arrived I called Costanza (I was already packed) and she graciously allowed me to keep my bags in the apartment for an hour while the cleaners turned over the apartment and I went for coffee. I truly had the sense that Costanza wanted me to have a great stay in Rome and did what she could to facilitate my stay.
The apartment itself was so comfortable - though I didn't spent much time there. Every time I thought "hmmm, I wonder if there is ..." I found it in the apartment - a drying rack, an ironing board, an Italian coffee maker. It was tremendous and so well thought out! Can't wait for my next trip to Rome and already have this favorited as a place I'd like to stay again.

Great location and nice unit
We had a great stay in Rome. This unit is in a great location and walkable to many things. It was clean and comfortable. It would have been nice to have a few minor touches added -- some paper towels or paper napkins, a coffee maker, maybe even some bottled water upon arrival? Costanza was very busy when we were, there so it was difficult to get timely responses to questions, but we could tell it was important for her to make sure we had a good stay.

Perfect Location
A lovely property with air conditioning, and a great location. Super easy for a tourist to get around. Would definitely recommend this property to a friend.

Ideal apartment for a long or short term stay
The Crispi apartment is ideally located midway between Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. It is close to 2 Metro stations and the main bus routes. A large supermarket is 150m away, providing all needed food supplies. The Via Condotti shopping area is less that 10 min walk away. All historical areas are within walking distance.
The apartment itself is comfortable and quiet and a haven within the city.
During our 5 week stay we experienced outstanding care and attention from our proprietor Constanza whose support went way beyond any level of expectation. We would consider Constanza a true friend.
We would recommend the Crispi apartment to any visitors to Rome - long or short term.

Wonderful stay, great location!
We had a lovely 2 night stay at this third floor apartment, located close to the Spanish Steps, lots of restaurants and shops! The apartment is well furnished with everything you need for making your own meals. A nice quiet bedroom, a comfortable pull out sofa, and washing machine (which we didn't use). The only thing we found difficult was bathing because there was no hook to hold the shower head up. Costanza was so hospitable and wonderful- she gave us information about where to eat and places to visit, and gave us a copy of a handy map of Rome. She arranged for a car to take us to the airport when we checked out, which was very helpful and easy so we didn't have to wander around looking for a taxi in the morning. Overally a wonderful stay! Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful!
We couldn't have loved our little home away from home in Rome more. Costanza was a very attentive and responsive guest. The apartment had everything we need and while we only stayed a few days, we discussed how it would be a perfect location to stay for a week or more. There were no noise issues and the location felt safe and was very well located to get everywhere we needed on foot. There is a metro station nearby, which we never used, but it could be helpful for those not into hiking the city as much.
We look forward to returning and hopefully staying here again!

Costanza was awesome, met us on arrival and gave us lots of great information about the area. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Wonderful host & location!
We had a wonderful week in Rome and this apartment was a great place to relax after sightseeing all day. It was great to have a nice kitchen and big bathroom. The bedroom was quiet despite the apartment's location in the middle of the action of the Spanish Steps area. It was wonderful to be near a grocery store, good restaurants and bars, and great shopping. Costanza gave wonderful recommendations and arranged us a ride to and from the airport which took lots of stress from us.
