About this house rental
Located in Santa Barbara, this charming house for $366 per night is a great option for your next break. Location, Location, Location!! We have 2 Cottages available, this 2 bedroom and a 1bedroom, in the most desirable and exclusive area in Santa Barbara at West Beach, just a few steps away from the sand. Ideally located just two short blocks from the beach between Stearn's Wharf (Pier) and the Santa Barbara Harbor, this romantic getaway allows you to leisurely walk to the harbor, the pier, restaurants, wine tasting or just spend your time relaxing or biking. We are also located just two blocks from the "Funk Zone", Santa Barbara's urban wine trail with over 20 wine tasting rooms and restaurants. The cottage is a great choice if you desire a central location where you can just park your car and walk. or bike. 1 Small Dog may be allowed, ask first. No Children under 10 years of age. Feel free to ask any questions you may have by selecting the "ask the owner a question " tab to the right. We have been working at this location for over 23 years now as a small Mom & Pop business and hope to see you here! More Below: The Cottage: This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom private Cottage. As you can see from the photos it is upstairs and has its own large and private 200 square foot deck. The deck is covered and functions as an additional outdoor room which has a patio table and chairs for four with beautiful views overlooking a Zen garden. The deck is a wonderful place to eat alfresco, just relax, or get some work done on your computer. The kitchen is modern and bright. The living room, dining room, and bedrooms all have tile throughout. The bedrooms all have queen size beds. It also has its own private washer and dryer. Maximum occupancy is 4 people.

This was the perfect place for my girlfriends and I to getaway on a mom’s trip and celebrate my birthday. The condo was clean, easy to access, and close to everything we wanted to do (we walked everywhere). The little patio off the living room was our favorite part, we had coffee in the morning, snacks in the afternoon and drinks in the evening there. Stephanie was an amazing host, very responsive and super accommodating in allowing us to check in early and store our luggage when we had a late flight out so we could enjoy another day in beautiful SB. We will definitely be back and book this place. 10/10 recommend.

This property was perfect for my husband & I as well as our son & girlfriend. Condo was exactly as described, had everything we needed. We could walk to the beach, Stearns Warf & the Funk Zone. It was clean, had everything we needed. Property is small but quaint & roomy enough for the four of us. The back patio which overlooked a zen garden was so quiet & a perfect way to have coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Would stay here again. Stephanie was easy to deal with & quick to answer the few questions we had

- fantastic communication from Stephanie
- well laid out/stylish

- Stephanie made it possible for us to check in early.
- literally 2 blocks to the beach
- an easy 10-15 min walk to the heart of funk zone or downtown
- easy to find
- all the necessities were there
- beautiful patio/deck space
All in all, a great place. We'd stay again. If I could have I would have put 4.5 stars to split the difference between the two of us one thought 4 the other thought 4.5 to 5.

This place looks pretty, but is not actually comfortable to stay in. The beds were like cardboard and the bathroom and shower were tiny. The checklist to check out was long and despite paying a cleaning fee you are required to do the dishes and put them in their original place (sans dishwasher) and take out the trash. Also very obsessed with reminding you only 4 people are allowed and there wasn’t even comfortable seating in the living space for that. Thankfully I was only here for a short amount of time. It is a good location to the beach but a bit far to walk downtown.

We had enough space for our family of two couples and our senior dog. During the heat wave the A/C was a welcome bonus. Parking two cars was never a problem. We like to cook and some of us wished there was a garbage disposal and dishwasher. However that did not stop us from having a terrific time and we would definitely return again.

The property was nice, very clean and decorated thoughtfully. The outdoor patio was great. The reason I could not give 5 stars is because there are three places in the small unit reminding guests that they must check out at 10:00. These “informational” reminders were constant reminders of not only our check out time but our check out date as well. We were painfully aware of when our getaway ended. I think for most people, one reminder is sufficient.

This was a great location for the price. The unit was clean and well furnished. The patio was very nice with a big comfy table. There are steep stairs to the front door, and parking is only street parking, but as long as you’re aware of those factors it’s a great stay.

We had a very nice stay in this very clean, updated, unit. The space worked perfect for three adults. The location was great. We could walk to downtown, the funk zone, beach and pier. The unit had everything we needed as well as a nice covered deck.

This was the perfect spot for 2 adult women. We walked everywhere, no need for a car. The kitchen and patio were perfect for making and enjoying our own wine and snacks. The grocery around the corner had everything we needed.
I’ll definitely book this spot again on the next trip to Santa Barbara.

If you want to explore Santa Barbara by foot, you can't ask for a better location. Communication with Stephanie was fantastic - check-in instructions were easy and clear.

My sister and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway. Weather was awful but the condo was great. Cute deck area. Had everything we needed. Walking distance to beach, grocery, shopping and restaurants. It was a nice quiet property.

We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos and, while small, was just perfect. We were able to park right across the street and there are so many restaurants, shops and sights to see that are within easy walking distance that we didn’t really need to drive except when we went inland to the wine country.
The apartment was clean, quiet and had all the amenities we needed. The covered porch is lovely! The homeowner was communicative as needed. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend!

You cannot beat this location!! You can walk everywhere from the condo! Less than 5 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes to State street and all the Funk Zone shops and restaurants! The condo is cozy and clean. The outdoor patio was wonderful and functions like an outdoor dining room, we loved it! Limited interactions with the host but she provided everything we needed so it wasn’t necessary to contact her. Stephanie is very clear about the amenities that are provided in the condo and if you need anything more that you should pack it, i.e. towels, pillows, etc.
We had a great trip to Santa Barbara and will stay at the Condo again if it is available!
