Pros: Close to the parkway great views plenty of room clean hot tub Cons: The floor was sticky when we arrived. and I don't mean "kinda sticky" I mean someone spilled an entire can of soda, and left it to dry. I had to clean it up when we got there Cockroaches. I killed at least 4 IN the cabin. Let alone the amount I had to kill outside. Ants. Ants EVERYWHERE.. I hope you like ants in your food. because they will be and we can't leave out the resident MOUSE that was living in the kitchen. He made an appearance several times and scared the living daylights out of myself and some other guests. The grill was broken when we arrived and we weren't told about that either so plan on bringing your own if that's how you plan on cooking. Or schlepping your food up the hill to the other cabin that is empty and being remodeled. No one is using that grill. Long story short, NO I would not book this cabin again. And an exterminator would sure go a long way here....

Property is in need of renovations. Upon arrival we found some furniture was broken, as well as beds. Everyone made proper sleeping adjustments due to the broken beds. Bathrooms are in need of renovations as well as a deep cleaning. Overall cleanliness of home is not what it should be. More attention needs to be given to home.

I emailed the property owner days before we left, never got a response. I called the number in the email for the owner once while on the road, no answer. No call back. The check in process was not easy. Once we got to the property the cleaning guys was still there. We waited in the driveway for 25 mins until they finished. After they was done the key pad on the door was not accepting our code, which was the last 4 of my phone number. So we called down to the cleaning crew while they were at the trash cans and he drove back up tried our code, it didn’t work for him so he just used his key to let us in. Once we got in my husband and I looked for the master suite with the bathroom. No room has its own private bathroom. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs with two bathrooms in the hallway. The kitchen area is super narrow. Two people CANNOT walk through, unless walking side by side. Down stairs are the two bedrooms and one bathroom. The bunk bed room does not have a tv. There is a tv where the pool table is but the remote is missing. The black leather futon is super broken. We sat on it and it slid down as if we were trying to lay down. Then there is this metal piece that snagged into my husbands pants and boxers and cut his back. Back upstairs the tv in the second room on the right did not have the tv remote, it only had the Roku remote. So my cousin wasn’t able to watch tv at all in her room at all the whole trip. The first bedroom on the right must have been the “master bedroom”, because that tv was mounted on the wall. All other tvs were in a cabinet. The tv in our room, the third bedroom, it worked but none of the apps on the tv had a login. We were not going to put our login in, so we just played what was free to watch. My brother had no complaint about his room, the 4th bedroom. 2 hours after we were in the house the owner contacted me via text, telling me she was coming in town, staying next door, and wanted to come in Sunday to get a thermostat that was replaced. At first I was thinking, why not wait until we leave we are on vacation. But my husband said let her come as early as she can to be out the way. She never came. On top of it all they had roaches, not water bugs! But roaches! They were all in the video game in the living room. Going in and out of outlets. Just nasty!! They wanted the place “clean” or “the way we found it” before we left, which had me thinking what does the cleaning crew do, if we are doing what they suppose to do?

We really enjoyed the space that this facility provided since we had several different couples and kids. It was very easy to contact the property manager when we were unable to get the keypad to work but it was any easy fix on her end. The house itself could use some TLC for some cosmetic issues and a little maintenance done but other than that it was a wonderful experience for us all.

House was very accommodating for a large family, downfall was could not enjoy decks or hot tub or allow grandkids to go outside due to bears on the deck. Had to leave a day early due to bears getting into my car.
