This unique apartment is situated in a quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood. The large, private patio (covered) with hot tub (not available between 11/15-4/15), overlooks a wooded backyard to the Asheville Municipal Golf Course's 15th fairway. Convenient location to the Biltmore Estate, Blue Ridge Parkway (Folk Art Center), Black Mountain, most attractions and major highways. The bedroom has a queen-size bed. The sofa sleeper in the den is a double. Even though people don't normally come to AVL to eat in, this eat-in kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, double sink and microwave plus 2-burner hot plate, crock pot, electric skillet, and toaster/oven. Washer & dryer (detergent provided.) All linens, kitchenware, paper goods, shower toiletries provided---basically, bring your toothbrush, clothes and groceries.

Host was great, tips of area, restaurants and Biltmore ticket help were spot on. Accommodations were very clean with everything needed. So much better than a commercial hotel. Great stay, don't hesitate, book this.

We spent Thanksgiving weekend exploring Asheville. We loved the location of the apartment close enough to downtown and surrounding area but it quiet and peaceful to relax and sleep. Melanie has had an easy check in and always asked if there was anything we needed. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Asheville.

Melanie was so accommodating to my wife and I (23 y/o) with our 2 young golden retrievers. Just a $25 pet cleaning fee and we were all good! The location was ideal to go downtown, go to the biltmore, and all around enjoy Asheville for the weekend. We would say that our only gripe was the mattress. It seemed really old and cheap. Dips into the center and can feel the springs. All in all, it didn’t ruin our stay or weekend. The private space in the back and the hot tub are a great touch!

Melanie was very friendly and super nice. The apartment is underneath her residence so she greeted us when we arrived and showed us around, and even gave us some ideas on where to eat and what to do. It was a great location for what we were wanting to do in a peaceful neighborhood. The hot tub was perfect and felt amazing after hiking all day. Melanie does a great job at making her place a home away from home.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights while we were exploring Asheville. Our young sons were at camp and we hadn’t gotten away on a trip in over 10 years just the two of us. We were surprised by the thoughtfulness for our pups with provided dog beds that they enjoyed! We are very thankful to find a place that allowed us to bring our 80lb lab as several other places in the area had weight limits on dogs. Checkin was very easy, our stay was very private and peaceful after long days exploring the town. We would stay here again!

My boyfriend and I were only in town for the night so this turned out to be perfect. Our two doggys came with us, they seemed very content and we felt safe leaving them there. The space is just as pictured, very clean and cozy. Beautiful home and yard. Would recommend!

We stayed here with our 2 dogs, and the backyard was perfect to take them outside. The place was so unique, peaceful and the A/C worked great. The dog bed and bowls were such a thoughtful touch. The location is near downtown and places to go hiking. Would definitely recommend.
