The Cottage at Lover’s Point is directly across the street from Lover’s Point Beach. The ocean views can be enjoyed from the living/dining room, the two bedrooms, and the enclosed front porch. Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon beverage and ocean views while people-watching from the rocking chairs outside on the front patio. If you are planning your next trip to Pacific Grove, then we have the premier location at Lover's Point. The Cottage at Lover's Point is a 100+-year-old Heritage Home, the original exterior is detailed with the charm and history of old Victorian Monterey architecture. There is no better location in all of Pacific Grove! This home is directly across from Lover's Point recreation area and park which has white sandy beaches, swimming, surfing, kayaking, snorkeling/diving, paddle boarding, biking, dining, and a coffee house. For your leisure, we offer complimentary use of adult bikes, boogie boards, golf clubs, tennis racquets, and beach toys available for your use and enjoyment at NO additional charge. Enjoy a beautiful 1-mile walk (2,000 steps) from the Cottage along the Coastal Recreation Trail to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. A 1/4 mile north, you can visit downtown Pacific Grove, the Farmer’s Market, shops, restaurants, and galleries. By car, you can view sunsets at Asilomar State Marine Reserve (7 minutes), Pebble Beach (15 minutes), and Carmel-by-the-Sea (17 minutes). Every room has been extensively updated. FEATURES: The main floor open concept living area has a comfy sectional, a separate reading lounge that functions as a twin bed, a Smart TV, a bay view window seat, and a separate dining area that can also be used for board games, puzzles, or remote work. Within walking distance, there are wonderful restaurants, or you may prefer to prepare your gourmet recipe in the well-equipped kitchen or BBQ outdoors while taking advantage of alfresco dining on the back patio. There are two bedrooms: both the King and Queen are located upstairs, and each has a TV. There are also two bathrooms: the upstairs has a tub/shower combo; the lower has an antique clawfoot tub/shower. PARKING: One single off-street parking space on the property with a rolling gate for security, and additional non-metered free street parking. Our family had a great experience staying at the Cottage at Lover’s Point. The cottage is stylishly furnished and the location was spectacular. Kitchen, bathrooms, puzzles/games- all were stocked well, and the location was unbeatable. We will definitely be staying here again.

We loved our stay at Lover's Point. This house is ideally situated, steps from the beach, minutes from the aquarium and a few miles from Carmel. It's also very comfortable and it has everything.

Very cozy home with lots of charm. All necessary items included. Great kitchen.
Only a little too small for out two 6foot 7inch boys.
But what a great location. Thanks also to Mr. Jack for calling us to let us know we may check in earlier at noon.

Came for the half marathon and although an injury kept me from running it we enjoyed our stay. I love that area and the house was perfect. Jack was absolutely awesome. Very easy to communicate with and even had everything ready for us early, loved it!

Jack was an excellent host. Very responsive and friendly. Location of this cottage couldn’t be more convenient to the beach walk, restaurants and downtown PG. Cottage was beautiful and well appointed.I highly recommend this place.

We have passed by the Lover’s Point Cottage dozens of times. How fortunate we were to find it available for this special trip. It was a dream come true to stay here!
This incredible Victorian Cottage MORE than checks all the boxes for everything you’d ever wish for in a VRBO home. Location - check! Decor - check! Comfort - check! Amenities - check! Immaculate - check! Kindest host- check! It felt so amazing to walk in and immediately feel cozy, safe and right at home. Each evening we truly enjoyed sitting out in front of the cottage as we observed the gorgeous Pacific Grove sunsets. We chatted with passers by and hope to son return to soak in more beauty and splendor that this special Cottage at Lover’s Point has to offer. Many thanks Jack for your thoughtful generosity and hospitality.

Perfect place to relax after a two day golf tournament. Conveniently located to golf courses, oceanside bike/walking trail, downtown Pacific Grove restaurants. Well equipped & spotless home, very comfortable beds, instant hot water. I appreciate the safety rails on the staircase & off street parking. Mr. Jack proactively provided the most comprehensive instructions for his home & was a great host. Pacific Grove is a charming and friendly neighborhood in a picturesque setting.

Clean, charming, beautiful home inside and out - perfect location in a prime yet quiet neighborhood! Loved the walkable destinations and proximity via car to other communities like downtown Monterey and Carmel. Everyone was so friendly - just sit in the rocking chairs out front and start making friends! Host was proactive and responsive - would definitely stay here again!

This rental was the best experience I have ever had. My wife and I were getting married in Monterey that week and this house was base camp for everything. The house, the location, the customer service from the owner was just exceptional. Waking up in the morning and sitting out front looking at the ocean was the best way to start the day. Everyone that come over for either meet and greets or to get ready the day of the wedding told us just how amazing of a place it was. We will definitely be back to PG!!

We recently stayed at this adorable beach cottage after a few days visiting SF, and oh my goodness was this just the very best house for our family of 5 - everything about the home, its location, Jack as a host, and the Monterey/Pacific Grove was absolutely perfect. We still are pinching ourselves to have gotten this lucky!
Favorite things about the home:
- plush and cozy white bedding and super comfortable beds!!!
- lots of places to get cozy and curl up in the living room, our family of 5 had plenty of space
- clawfoot bath tubs giving such a fun vintage vibe
- amazing decor - you can tell the home has recently been updated; lots of great coffee table books too, to thumb through
- cleanliness - the home was spotless
- the LOCATION!!! You can literally see the ocean from both bedroom windows, and sitting on the rocking chairs out front with a bottle of wine was divine! Water view, and bonus of getting to speak with folks as they passed by

Jack’s cottage was very charming and meticulously clean. The kitchen was very nice and well equipped, although I wished we had time to use it. The beds were very comfortable for our family of five. We just loved the location! Just walk across the street to Lover’s Point! Overall, it was money well spent and Jack was a wonderful host!

The house had everything we needed (and more!). Jack was wonderful and accommodating when I requested an earlier check in so my baby could nap. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area!

We absolutely loved our stay in this wonderful cottage in beautiful Pacific Grove! The home was clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and wonderfully decorated. We loved the use of the bikes to explore the area and had fun on the paddle boards! Jack was fantastic - easy to communicate with, super responsive, and accommodating! We would love to return to the area and without question would stay here again!

Cute little cottage. So welcoming and felt like home away from home. Jack provided everything you need for a perfect family vacation. Bike, kayaks, beach towels, kitchenware, comfortable bedding. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Will be back again for another Summer vacation with my family.

We had the best place in the area at a reasonable rate. The area is beautiful, filled with flowers and plants, diverse architecture, and quaint cottages. Located across from the beach and nature path. We really enjoyed using the bikes and being able to ride to grab some groceries close by. We loved the big bathtubs on the breezy, and cool evenings.

Gorgeous house in a great location. Steps away from the ocean with a very nice walking trail. Easy to get to Carmel, Monterey and Pebble Beach. We would absolutely stay here again.

Everything about this place is accurate and then some. It is well-appointed, in a great location and managed by an excellent host. The house was spotless and comfortable. The amenities provided were terrific-beach towels, beach chairs, bikes, and all small kitchen appliances you could need. We were very happy with our stay and wish it could have been longer. The only thing we noted is that some of the windows are not so soundproof if a noisy vehicle happens to drive by But we are used to heavily insulated winterized Northeast windows. Otherwise I can not say enough about this property. Absolutely charming! Lots to do within walking/biking distance and Jack was extremely thoughtful with recommendations. Thank you so much!

Lovely cottage in a fabulous location. We’d stayed in Pacific Grove before and seen this house and thought it looked good, so when we had another trip to plan we booked it. It entirely lived up to expectations and Jack us a great host (on top of a great house and seamless check-in process, he provided loads of great information about things to do in the area).
We had great weather (better than the Uk where we live). And had some great trips whale watching, spotting sea otters and walking at Pinnacles. Couldn’t get to the elephant seals as the coast road is shut, but otherwise a fabulous holiday.

We had a wonderful time! Home is a perfect home, cozy and comfortable. The location cannot be topped - beautiful views and daily walks along the coast to watch the sea lions is a must. Jack is a perfect host!
