keypad was easy, well appointed overall and great location with easy mountain access
very comfortably furnished

- dryer didn't dry, so we had to run it 4 times on one load & ultimately decided not to use again.
- bathtub was dirty (filled with bugs upon filling with water)
- water heater insufficient for even 1 full bath of hot water per night, meaning one person showered at night and the other in the morning. not ideal for ski weekend & especially if the house was full.
- flagged these issues early & was told it'd be handled, but no one followed up.

Vacasa manages the property and we got lots of reminders of pre-check-in and check-in - in fact, too many. :) We got the lock box code via SMS the day before. There were 2 lock boxes around the door. We had to try both and eventually found the key. The lockbox with the key was quite loose and with enough wiggling, it could be forced open without the code.
The apartment is on the second floor. It is very big, 2 floors with a loft on second floor - enough for 7 people to sleep. It would be a super good value for big families. There were only 2 of us so we used only the ground floor. Lots of thoughts went into the skiing decor. Kitchen was well stocked with tools and appliances, modern stove, full fridge, dish soap. Bed was clean though a little soft for us. Bathroom was clean. There was a working washer and dryer. Quiet neighborhood. Good location. Parking was easy and just outside the apartment. We enjoyed the stay.
The dryer was slow - we had to dry some loads twice and a load three times for the clothes to dry.
Some kitchen tools were really old and should be replaced, e.g., plastic spatulas that were melted or cracked.
There was a post-it inside the house near the front door to not use the bolt lock. The post-it was quite old so we suppose it needed fixing for a while. For our own peace of mind, we put two high chairs to block the door when we slept. Also, the sliding door's lock didn't work. We had to put the wooden rod in the rail to "lock" it.

Location was fantastic. Easy to walk to Girdwood Brewery and local restaurants.
We had a bad experience for our group of 4 adults - when we arrived on June 19, there was a sign in the upstairs toilet that read “AS OF JUNE 12 DO NOT USE TOILET. PLUMBER HAS BEEN CALLED. SINK AND SHOWER OK.” I understand things break and sharing one toilet isn’t the worst thing in the world, but we paid for two bathrooms and clearly this was a known issue BEFORE we arrived. More frustrating was the lack of response from the local staff. Corporate employees could only continually reply “we are looking into it”.
Eventually we were given a partial refund- but still left bad impression.
Unit was fine otherwise- a little dated but had what we needed, except a second toilet!
