I had a lovely stay at Al Iram Napoleone III Guest House.
The location is excellent, just a short walk from Roma Termini station, which made arriving and getting around the city very easy. Santa Maria Maggiore is also right nearby.
The rooms have been refurbished and feel clean and well-maintained. Mine was comfortable, quiet, and had everything I needed.
The host was extremely helpful and responsive throughout. Check-in was smooth and he was always available when I needed anything. The service really stood out.
Overall, a great base for exploring Rome. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

This was probably the best place I’ve ever stayed. The place had it all, a lovely host who is so welcoming and nice. Lovely clean sheets that you can tell were freshly washed. And divine bathroom facilities that are unrivalled in cleanliness. I would recommend to everyone, professionals, families, couples.
The fact that the breakfast included too much variation in food. We had to go up 5 times to get the 6 different types of meat and garnishes.

The room was cleaned, and those who run the hotel were very gentle and helpful. Very professional and hard working people. You can see that they are willing to improve and help you. I suggest this hotel especially to those who need somewhere to stay one night or two and can get by with a shared bathroom.
The bathroom was shared with other guests, and one other left the bathroom in a terrible state. They clean the bathroom at the morning, and if you get bad luck of someone making the bathroom unusable you may be in a bad shape. HOWEVER, the manager didn't treat this as something usual, and was very upset by the situation (what was very appreciated by us).
