Of the 5 bedrooms, one of the bedrooms is located downstairs, with the other 4 bedrooms located upstairs. Safety & Parking The house is located in a very safe and secure neighborhood called Uptown. We had a wonderful stay here. The location is very good, it's quiet and there's plenty of parking. The house was clean, the hvac worked well and the beds were comfy. There was plenty of hot water. The kitchen had the basic stuff which worked for us. We only ate breakfast here. The only drawbacks were the lack of friendly lighting in the living room, which we solved using a bedroom lamp. The door knobs fall off and some of the doors don't stay closed. It's an old house and it shows. But we were comfortable here and every one had their own bedroom, which is why it deserves all 5 stars.

A nice safe neighborhood. Never figured out how to use public transportation. Quite a haul to French quarter but worth it. Home was just lovely.

This is a great house and my family very much enjoyed staying there. You've got a downstairs bedroom if you have anyone in the group that has trouble with stairs which is great when needed. The neighborhood is dark at night but we felt safe and loved the proximity to everything we wanted to see and do. My only feedback is that the floors in the house were very dusty when we arrived - while not a big issue they should be very clean. I'm sure it will be next time. Overall, we will absolutely stay here again.
