An ideal room for relaxing and unwinding--watch a movie, finish a good book or challenge the family to a board game. Just off the living room is the well-equipped kitchen with stainless appliances. The kitchen opens to the separate dining room with slider to the large deck. There is also a half bath on this floor. The second floor has two bedrooms. The first is a roomy master bedroom with king bed, twin bed and a flat screen television. The second bedroom has three twins. Both second floor bedrooms have ductless A/C and share a full bathroom with shower. The lower level has a third bedroom with king bed, flat screen TV and slider to backyard. Full bathroom in lower level with tub/shower. Lower level also has a movie room/den for additional lounging space. Both the lower level bedroom and den have ductless A/C units. The washer/dryer are also located on this floor. The large back deck runs the length of the house. Cook up dinner on the gas grill and dine outside at the teak table with seating for eight. Enjoy the enclosed outdoor shower (hot and cold water) beneath the deck. This comfortable home is walking distance to Wellfleet's bustling Main Street and Mayo Beach at Wellfleet Harbor--only 0.4 mi to the Wellfleet Public Library, 0.6 mi to town hall, 0.9 mi to Mayo Beach and Powers Landing Beach and only a mile to the town pier. We loved our stay -- just as listed: gorgeous house, walk to town and the harbor, very clean and well-furnished. Plenty of space for our family of 6 to hang out and play games and puzzles. The deck was lovely as well. We would love to stay here again!

Spent the week here with our daughter and both sets of parents—there was ample space for all of us and the location was perfect as it is in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to walk or drive to the center of town. We will definitely be back!

This house is very pretty and photographs well, and is even quite comfortable. But much depends on your values and priorities. It felt like we were staying in a playmobile house, made of plastic- inside and out. It looks nice but doesn’t feel so great… (and is certainly not for the ecologically minded.) But most importantly, this house requires constant reliance on a vehicle. Contrary to the title of the listing, this house is really NOT walking distance to anything useful- unless you consider a 20 to 30 minute walk with groceries or beach gear acceptable. And the high carbon footprint of having to drive everywhere each day of our vacation was rather frustrating…and not what we were aiming for!

The house was very nice and clean. The lower level needs airing out as there is an initial musty odor. I would recommend the use of non-slip mats at doorways and the kitchen. The slippery mats might cause an issue for older folks. A note to anyone choosing the optional linen package - check the sheets in the marked packages immediately, as we discovered one of the fitted sheets for the king-size bed was for a smaller bed. The company did respond quickly with the correct size. You may also wish to wash the sheets before using them, as they are heavily starched - not soft.

We loved our stay in Wellfleet. We had our adult children and their partners with us and the 3 bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We took walks into Wellfleet Ctr (10 minutes) and Mayo Beach (10 minutes), and White Crest Beach (ocean side) and Great Pond (along Cahoun Hollow Rd) were easy 10 minute drives away. Breakfasts, reading, hanging out on the deck; we were glad to have a v. large t.v. for watching the Euros and Wimbledon. Our kids took long bike rides south to Orleans and north to P-town. Perfect accommodations for us.

This house was clean, had plenty of room and a very large deck. It’s on a quiet road with short bike ride to Mayo beach and town of Wellfleet. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, spacious and deck has gas grill making cooking in most nights a joy.

We enjoyed our stay in this Cape Cod rental. The rental is clean, nicely decorated with everything you would need and the appliances and fixtures are new and updated. The best part of this rental is its location. It is just a short walk away from the downtown and some restaurants. My kids loved being able to walk into town when ever they wanted. Also we were just a short drive away from the ponds and the ocean side beaches and other attractions. I would recommend this rental.

Great location, very comfortable, updated and super clean. Great for our family of 6. Only suggestions would be a path from outdoor shower to side path and also the ground floor smelled a little musty. Such a pretty little house in the heart of Wellfleet!

The house is modern (updated 2016) and spotless. Plenty of rooms and storage space. Huge deck. The area is very quiet and only a couple minutes drive (or walk) from Wellfleet centre. We loved our stay.
