Pesadilla en el Hotel at the Art.

La ubicación, excelente.

La piscina sucia, habitación vieja y descuidada, los llavines sin seguridad, abanico con un ruido extremesedor, la cama se le cayó una tabla, me cambiaron la caja de seguridad no funcionaba, mucho ruido en todo el día y las noches en mi estadía de 4 días, pienso que el pago por adelantado sin devolución es para que las personas no cambien de opinión una vez en el hotel, por último lo más deprimente el desayuno, malo y sin variedad, no vuelvo aun me regalen la estadía gratis por 4 días. Ah! Los baños se me olvidaba en muy mal estado y poca agua., la cama tenía un hoyo gigante más dura qué una piedra.

Volvería sin dudarlo

El personal es por demás amable y servicial, tuvimos un accidente en nuestro traslado e hicieron todo para ayudar muchas gracias!! La ubicación es muy buena cerca de todo pero en una zona relativamente tranquila (para ser el centro de cartagena). El.desayuno es bastante completo y la señora que lo.sirve un encanto. La habitación es super amplia y cómoda. Tiene agua caliente, algo que nunca hay que dar por sentado en Colombia. Y la piscina y los espacios en general muy agradables.

No es un lugar adecuado para personas con movilidad reducida,ya que hay muchas escaleras. Hay que recordar que todo el barrio histórico y getsemani son lugares MUY ruidosos prácticamente todos los días (más aún fines de semana) así que si tienes problemas con eso casi que ningún alojamiento te va a poder ofrecer tranquilidad total. Nuestra habitación no tenía ventanas ,pero la elegimos así justamente para reducir un poco los ruidos.

Buena atención del staff

La ubicación esta excelente en el pueblo y el estilo del hotel esta adaptado al casco colonial de Cartagena, el staff tiene buena atención y siempre están atentos.

Habían solamente detalles, como los enchufes de toma corrientes y la ducha que no dispensa muy bien el agua, el area de comida le falta un toque, pero en realidad nada fuera de lugar, solo detalles mínimos (igual vi diariamente que hacían mantenimiento al hotel y en general todo anda muy bien.

Exceptional

We only stayed one night but the room was really nice, It didn´t have windows, but it actually helped with the noise of the street ( that is usual in this area, we didn´t hear a thing). The staff was really nice and it has a great location.

Pleasant

Good place to crash for one or two night max if you are passing thru Cartagena. The staff were very nice and the a/c was good.

I wouldn't say I didn't like the place...it was ok. Clean and a place to sleep...that's it. The pictures looked better than the place.

Very good

Location is close to everything like restaurants, cafe, exchange/cambio & sightseeing in old city & supermarkets. Breakfast was delightful & tasty. Staff tried their best to communicate in English & assisted me when I needed help with getting a taxi or asking about the bus schedule

Nothing, I would come bk for sure if they have availability. I stayed short time in Cartegena, but definitely would come bk to this hotel/area

Great base for a week in Cartagena sightseeing and attending a family wedding.

Location, very friendly and helpful staff. The architecture was lovely. Very comfortable bed and great air conditioning.

The stairs in my room were not very safe, and the bathroom was tiny - hard to get in and out!

very central location over looking a cute park. Breakfast was plentiful and yummy, the lady working the kitchen was very kind. The bed is comfortable. We had a room with a balcony, the room was large and had plenty of sitting area, a closet and little kitchen counter with sink and fridge. The fridge was stocked with a variety of drinks which you can have, but pay a low fee when checking out. AC worked great and saved us with that heat. wifi was good throughout. pretty building, great rooftop, but very hot up there.

Being in the center, if you get a balcony, you’ll hear street noise pretty late; like till 3am. I slept through most. Be warned, not sure if it’s every Saturday, but there was a 6am workout class with bouncy shoes right in front at the park.

Very good

Great place in a colonial building. Nice view over the little square. 7 meter ceiling. Many restaurants nearby.. I enjoyed the street live and the music outdoors . Good Aircon.

The staff was really friendly. We loved the lady making breakfast for us everyday. I wish we got her name! We also loved the location. The plaza was always lively and everywhere we walked was a pretty quick walk if you remembered where you came from.

A bit tired

Lovely quirky, colonial building in the very centre of Cartagena walled town. Many places to see, eat and shop around it. Our room 101 was quiet with outdoor sitting space.

Very noisy outside in the evenings - may affect some rooms. Water pressure in our sink was so bad it could hardly crawl out of the tap. Worse - the hot shower water was either scalding steaming hot or stone cold, swinging from one to the other. Nothing in between. Dangerous! Breakfast not appertising and poorly presented.

I enjoy myself very much be in this unique place during my stay In Cartagena.

Very nice breakfast ! The Location is perfect! The Receptionist Dalid is super nice and so helpful and during my stay! The room are clean. I love this space especially like chilling around the balcony at the lobby!

I guess the hot water shower is not hot not even warm. I don’t really bother me as I like the cool shower too! But the might affect some other guests who was expecting the real hot water shower.

Comfortable rooms; central location inside the walled city

We visited Medellin, Salento, and Cartagena on our Colombia trip. Out of the three cities, Hotel Boutique at the Park was the most comfortable hotel we stayed in, having booked hotels of similar ratings in each city. The room was surprisingly spacious, with nice cold air conditioning. It's in a central location in the walled city, with plenty nearby within walking distance. Many reviewers stated that the hotel staff was very helpful with providing information about the city. Maybe it was because we stayed during Christmas and had the holiday staff, but I didn't find this to be the case. Nevertheless, the housekeeping and breakfast staff were friendly, and I would stay here again. Bonus that the minibar drinks were all very affordable and even better prices than many of the restaurants in the walled city.

When you arrive at the hotel, there is a locked gate. We weren't expecting this and walked around the entire block, thinking we were at a side entrance. What I wish the hotel had told us is that there is a doorbell at the top right corner next to the gate, that if we rang, someone would buzz us in. We ended up shouting until someone came down. Also, many reviewers stated that the street noise was loud outside. We were fortunate enough to stay on the bottom floor, with our window facing the inner courtyard, so it was quiet for us at night. However, in the morning, we could hear the breakfast staff, and we also heard the doorbell ring every time someone needed access to the hotel.

BEST LOCATION! Probably the most comfortable stay in Walled City

LOCATION, LOCATION LOCATION! This hotel is by far the most centrally located hotel for a comfortable stay! Right outside Plaza Fernandez there was always performances, something fun happening and still away from the rowdy noise near the clubs and clock tower but only a two minute walk there. The restaurants attached and next to th hotel were the BEST. We are at the Pizzeria everyday! The steakhouse next door is one of the best. The staff are VERY kind and go above and beyond. I had a few incidents but all was resolved and they offered to upgrade us to the best suite in the hotel and that was amazing! Highly recommend booking the suite. Breakfast is decent

The basic room at this hotel is NOT NICE. DO not book it! This room shouldn't even be allowed to stay in, its FULL of mold, it smells, you could honestly get sick in there. I couldn't believe they gave us that room and its deceiving when booking online. I highly recommend booking any of the suites as there is a world difference and the second we were moved into there it was a comfortable stay and I loved the place.
