This cozy grouping of cottages remind you of a little May Berry tucked in over by the City Park and Canyon Lake . Fully Furnished Kitchens 2 Breakfast Bar stools (No Table/chairs) Two Bedrooms 2 Queen Bed + Futon sleeper Full Bathroom with Shower All linens, towels and Bedding Air Conditioning and Heat Wireless Internet Flat Screen Cable TV Gas Grill and Picnic Table Gas Fireplace Two bedroom cottage has a queen bed in each bedroom and a futon sleeper in the living room. Tastefully furnished in lodge log decor with a free standing gas fireplace stove in the living room. Full bathroom with shower only. Through the wall air conditioning, cable TV, and wifi for your comfort and relaxation. All bedding, linens, and towels are provided. The full size kitchen comes with a stove/range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. It is equipped for basic cooking and eating. Outside on the patio is a gas grill, picnic table, and patio chairs for your evening bar-b-q. The cottages set in a park like setting with mature trees, and lots of lush lawn. Just a short walk to the paved bike path or to the lake for some recreation. Located by beautiful Canyon Lake in Rapid City just thirty minutes from Mt Rushmore. Easy access to all Black Hills area attractions. Most attractions including Mt Rushmore are 30 minutes or less. Bring your bikes, walking shoes, or roller blades and enjoy the great paved bike trail that goes for miles along Rapid Creek. Trout fishing in both the Creek and the lake. Paddle boats are available for rent to mingle with the ducks and geese on the lake. Playgrounds for the kids and best of all, mosquitoes are not a problem. Bike rentals to enjoy the miles of paved bike paths around the lake and along the creek.

The overall it was nice and you felt safe and the cabin was clean but the living room furniture it needs some updates no cushioning and if you very large or had walking issues the bathroom was not good you had to sit sideways my husband and I are small to average so we made due and we had to leave a day sooner because. Of car issues so we did not get anything back but it is what it is

The people at the camp ground were incredibly nice and helpful! It was a peaceful stay at a beautiful location. There isn’t anything fancy about it but it is nice and very clean and maintained. The communication of guest responsibility’s was clearly stated and made our first excursion out of hotels and restaurants on vacation—-a wonderful experience

Everything was just as pictured. Easy check in and out. Well stocked with dishes and even extras like sone ground coffee and creamer for your first pot! Host had 2 box fans, extra pillows, blow dryer, and bedding if anyone wanted to sleep on the futon.

We would definitely recommend this place to everyone! Very impressed with the cleanliness and the feeling of home. Very helpful staff. It was quiet and has a beautiful park only a block away that you could spend all day at. It was also about 15 minutes from all the sights we went to. The only drawback was there is no dining area inside for more than 2 people. There were 5 of us and we were lucky and we had clear skies to sit at the picnic table.

Great location, ER did all the usual black hills destinations. Dated but clean and perfect size for family of 6. Nice to have a full kitchen and grill. Cost was about right compared to what two hotel rooms would have cost.

We enjoyed staying here for a couple of nights to do our favorite things in SD. It is easy to get to Bear country and Reptile Gardens without as long of a drive if you stayed in Rapid City proper. While it is a bit rustic, this was a better choice than a hotel room as we had 5 people and needed more space. The one bathroom wasn't really any problem as I thought it might be. I failed to notice in the listing that there was not a kitchen table inside which would have been nice for playing cards at night, but we made it work with end tables. Nice area to walk around, and there is a neat Scandinavian chapel just up the road you can visit. Everyone at the camp was nice, both staff and guests.

The layout was good and clean. It needs new towels and better soap. The smell of pets was so bad from the carpet and the window AC that we did not come back until after 9:00 every night.

We stayed in the cottage on a last minute road trip to get away from crowds. While the campground seemed fairly booked we were able to enjoy our own space. It was comfortable and we enjoyed having the picnic table in front of the cottage to enjoy our meals on. I use a wheelchair and was very happy there were no stairs to get into the cottage and I could access the bathroom. There was a listing error requiring us to have to move from one cottage to the other the next night, but they offered to move our things for us and it was not a problem at all. Glad we found this place to stay as part of our road trip. Nice lake to walk to from the campsite.

We found this property to fit our needs perfectly. It was well kept and situated perfectly to get to all of the attractions (Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Devil’s Tower, etc) while also being close enough to go get groceries. Our week stay was fantastic and Scott was always very responsive when we sent him a message or had a question. The lake at the campground was nice and the playground was perfect for our two boys (1 and 2)...

We were very pleased with the cabin. It’s in a beautiful location. My only regret is that we didn’t have enough down-time to really enjoy the place! The cabin was fully stocked. Loved how many towels it was stocked with. No worries about using them all! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for others.
