The location is excellent and the resort itself is beautiful. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was consistently very good with plenty of choice, and the pool and surrounding areas were clean and well maintained. These were definitely the strongest points of our stay.
We stayed in room 5101. Although the room looks modern, we found the layout surprisingly impractical. The toilet and shower are located on opposite sides, and there is no proper place near the shower to hang towels.
Housekeeping was below the standard we expected. Small towels that we had left on the floor to be replaced were sometimes simply picked up, folded and put back instead of being replaced with clean ones.
There was also a serious privacy issue. Despite having the “Do Not Disturb” sign activated, housekeeping entered our room while we were inside and undressed. This should simply never happen. If a guest has activated “Do Not Disturb”, staff should respect it.
