Everything!! Best holiday ever
Well, if I try to find something, it is the fact that there wasn't a bath in our suite. And no door or wall between the bathroom and the living room. B u t- the place was sooo perfect we didn't mind it. Perfect!

The hotel is an impressive-looking property with plenty of space to relax and sunbathe, as well as a good choice of pools.
We had very good experiences at both the Greek and Asian restaurants. The food was very good and the service was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals at both.
The Main Bar was another highlight of our stay. The bar itself has a lovely atmosphere and a great view over the sea, particularly at sunset. The bar staff were attentive and friendly and made very good cocktails, so we really enjoyed spending our evenings there.
As a younger couple, we also particularly enjoyed the White Party on Wednesday evening. There was a great atmosphere, and we really enjoyed the music and dancing.
Unfortunately, several aspects of our stay fell below what we expected from a hotel of this standard.
The most concerning incident was finding a roughly 10 cm plastic cable tie inside the middle of a burger from the Street Food stall. We showed it to the kitchen staff, but when we returned around five minutes later and asked for it back so that we could take a photograph, we were told they no longer had it. We did not receive what we felt was a sincere apology. We also reported the incident to Guest Relations at reception, but the response was simply to ask what we would like in return. Nobody followed up with us afterwards to explain how this had happened or what had been done about it, which was particularly disappointing given the seriousness of the incident.
On another evening, we were served a wine glass with a significant amount of lipstick still around the rim, which raised further concerns about cleanliness.
Service around the pool could also be improved. On our first day, a sparkling water ordered from the poolside waiting staff took more than 15 minutes to arrive. The pool bar itself often felt chaotic and unorganised, as the bartenders appeared to be handling both orders taken by poolside staff and guests ordering directly at the bar. There didn’t seem to be a clear system, and ordering a drink at the bar could feel more like you were interrupting the staff than enjoying a relaxing hotel experience.
Restaurant reservations were another frustration. We stayed for six nights but were unable to eat at the Grill restaurant because we were told it was already fully booked for the following seven nights. This was confusing because the hotel app we were instructed to use only allowed restaurant reservations three days in advance, so we were unsure how it could already be fully booked so far ahead.
The breakfast buffet was also disappointing. We found the selection fairly limited and very repetitive, particularly over a six-night stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Mayia and would happily come back. The resort is beautiful, very clean, and everything is kept in excellent condition. The staff really made a difference—they were always friendly, smiling, and genuinely happy to help. Breakfast was one of the highlights, with plenty of fresh and tasty options every morning. We also loved having several bars around the resort. It was easy to find a nice place to relax, enjoy a good cocktail, and spend time during the day or in the evening.
The dinner buffet was the only part that didn’t meet our expectations. Many of the dishes were only lukewarm or even cold, and the food quality wasn’t at the same level as the breakfast, lunch, or the à la carte restaurants. We ended up enjoying the restaurants much more than the buffet for dinner.

The property is beautiful, and well looked after. Albeit, it's quite far away from the town.
That being said, the food options are poor. We expected fine dining, and it was mediocre at best. I don't think it's food value for money unfortunately, but the actual property and the staff were faultless. In particular the waiting staff, cleaning staff and reception staff all of which were very pleasant, friendly and made us feel very comfortable.
It didn't have an atmosphere, however the staff were brilliant.
