Staff were amazing, really helpfully and made the stay really comfortable.
Lack of pool towels. On 4 separate occasions we went to the pool bar for grab some towels and they never had any left.

Everything. Got a free room upgrade upon arrival, the staff were all so kind and helpful whether it was at reception, the bar, restaurant, I felt safe as a solo traveller, supermarket only a 2 minute walk away and sells everything you need and more and short 5 minute walk to the closest beach which was quiet and lovely. I will 100% visit again
Nothing at all! Just note theres no irons in rooms but you can request ironing service with a charge of course! You can also buy a travel iron from the supermarket for about £20!

Ideal hotel for a holiday to relax by the pool in a chilled but still upbeat atmosphere. Sun loungers are comfortable, good selection of drinks which you can order from your sun lounger as well as food. Service around the pool is generally quick.
Hotel looks premium throughout.
Location is in a quiet town of Kolymbia. It is a 1hr bus to Rhodes €4 or €40 taxi.
Dinner at the Cantina restaurant is ok but not 5 star quality if your on the half board.
Half board is limited to only two main course choices per day on a set menu. It alternates each day but for a 5 star hotel, only two main course choices is really poor. Also, the hotel bulk cooks the two options and then servers them look warm at best. I'd recomend going B&B only. Other options on the menu looked good as cooked fresh to order. Waiters insist on paying for your drinks before even finishing my desert? Really rude putting a card machine in my face while still eating.
Cooked buffet breakfast is always cold! The hot plates the cooked food sits on are cold. So it is never hot or fresh. You have to ask for fresh juice, why isn't it available at the buffet. You get that at 3 star hotels.... Service at breakfast is really poor, the waiters are very grumpy. Slighly better service at dinner. Plates aren't cleared away so your sat with dirty plates all the time.. Generally just a really disappointing experience everyday.
Rooms are basic to in keep with the vibe but a kettle is a basic requirement for a 5 star hotel. Again, you'd get this at 3 star hotel. Water only provided on day one.
