I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but my recent experience with Casa Cook has been so utterly disappointing that I feel compelled to share my story.
My wife and I had booked a stay for our honeymoon, but unfortunately, our flight was canceled due to war in our home country.
When we reached out to the hotel for assistance, the initial phone conversation was positive. The staff member we spoke to offered credits, but given the uncertainty of our situation, we requested a refund and were advised to email the manager.
Regrettably, our emails to the manager were met with inconsistent responses. The first email went unanswered, the second received a reply only because it lacked clarity about our refund request, and subsequent emails addressing our situation were ignored.
It's important to note that we approached the situation with an open mind, understanding that policies may vary. We weren't stubborn on the refund but were seeking a fair resolution given the unforeseen circumstances. Despite this, we expected a more empathetic and understanding response. In challenging times, flexibility and compassion are crucial for service providers.
I hope that others considering Casa Cook are aware of the potential challenges in communication and responsiveness, especially in unique situations like ours. A fair and understanding approach from the hotel could have made a significant difference in our overall experience.

Die Hotelanlage ist wunderschön angelegt und das Hotel hält wirklich was es verspricht. Die Anlage ist am Rande eines Felsen gelegen und lediglich einen kurzen Fußweg vom Strand entfernt. Wer Ruhe und Privatsphäre sucht, wird hier garantiert nicht enttäuscht und trotzdem wird einem hier jede Menge Abwechslung geboten bzw. kann man sich hier sehr gut beschäftigen.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war fantastisch und auch das Abendmenü, welches wir im Rahmen der Halbpension gebucht hatten, war jeden Abend ein Festmahl.
Der Service und die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter ist ebenso außergewöhnlich und wir haben uns einfach nur richtig wohl gefühlt.
Etwa 200m vom Hotel gibt es eine Bushaltestelle, von der man u.a. problemlos nach Lindos oder Rhodos Stadt gelangt. Alternativ hat das Hotel zahlreiche Parkplätze, um seinen Mietwagen/Auto vor Ort zu parken. Ein Mietwagen bietet sich auf jeden Fall sehr gut an, um die Insel zu erkunden oder zu den Sandstränden zu fahren, da der Strand in Kolymbia sehr steinig und schmal ist.
Hier und da ein paar „Schönheitsfehler“, die aber mit ein paar Handgriffen schnell erledigt sein sollten und uns nicht wirklich gestört haben (nicht richtig schließende Klo-/Duschtür, Abnutzungen beim Pool-Einstieg, nicht abgedichtetes Badfenster)
Uns wurde gesagt, dass zwischen November und April das Hotel schließt und in diesem Zeitraum eben diese kleinen Reparaturen und Verbesserungen vorgenommen werden. Dennoch sind dies wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten und haben unseren Aufenthalt keinesfalls schlecht gemacht, sollten für ein 5* Hotel jedoch gefixt werden.

After reading the many positive reviews my partner and i decided to spend our holiday at Casa Cook.
I can say that these reviews are more than true, our expectations have been greatly exceeded. Everything is perfectly arranged down to the last detail.
Hospitality of the staff is great! From the staff at reception, servers at breakfast/dinner to the cleaning ladies, everyone is super hospitable. Genuinely one of the most hospitable places i have ever stayed!
A lot of reviews say that the food is good and i can confirm this with a resounding yes. The food and drinks here are of a different level. We had booked an half board. Breakfast has a big variety of products and dinner was fantastic every evening. As a result, we did not eat out of the resort a single evening...
Rooms are clean and well maintained. (towels and linen get's refreshed every day) Each room has its own access to the (shared) swimming pool. We were lucky enough to have been upgraded to a suite with a private pool, but the entire resort is a fantastic place to stay.
I can write much more, but everything is perfect here from A to Z. I can recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday!

This hotel is amazing ! The staff are all super friendly including reception.. I stayed here alone in the executive room with private pool it was just stunning! The Pool is gorgeous even had a jacuzzi. The Loungers are super comfortable. The food is lovely! The Main pool area is gorgeous & The cleanliness is 10/10 super clean! I had a spa treatment from Rafal deep tissue full body and Indian head massage which was incredible! One of the best deep tissue full body massages I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back thanks for an amazing stay :)

Staff is extemely nice, the facilities and the feel of the place are amazing and everything is kept really clean. Beatiful location next to the cliffs. The hotel looks even better in real life than in the photos here. Absolutely perfect place to stay and just relax. We are used to go on active holidays and were a little anxious of staying one week in the same hotel with no plans whatsoever, but it was brilliant. Will be happy to return someday.
We liked everything about the hotel. The town of Kolymbia is definitely nothing to travel for, but there are tours to other parts of the island readily available. Food is more than okay, but not as amazing as the rest of the experience.

Location is a little strange. We ate at the hotel everyday as there isn’t a town/village nearby that you can walk to with nice hotels. That was fine when staying for 3nights but would have got a little boring if we were staying for longer.

The breathtaking beauty of the place! the magnificent natural surroundings merge smoothly with the facilities are state of the art, super modern and tasteful.
The semi-private pool was exceptional. Staff members are kind and attentive.
Dinner (reserved at booking) was a disappointment. Nothing like the excellent restaurants we visited elsewhere on the trip. Food was simply not good. Didn't feel fresh or well thought. I'm sure they tried, and the staff were charming and accomodated to our preferences, but still, the actual food felt more like a cheap commercial cantine. Complete dissonance to the chic, luxury experience of everything else in the hotel.

Overall great looking Hotel and very good breakfast
Room 104 had noises at day and night coming from the water pipes id someone from the neighbors used their bathroom. So we wome up several times. This could be fixed.
Please make sure, that this great Hotel will not get worn out in the future, since there are a few smaller damages here and there in the rooms.

Gorgeous location really just like the picture. Also close to the Tsumbaki beach that you can reach by bus.
Staff were a little bit rushed due to many guests. But this is not a major set-back and they were all friendly.

We just spent 10 days at Casa Cook and while there are many good things to say about this place, there are also some flwas you need to be aware of. Good things first:
The staff is young, hip and super friendly. They are relaxed, always up for a chitchat and try to make you feel at home. Although many negative reviews, we felt they overvame their organizational issue as service was mostly swift.
The resort is well entertained and offers you a sense of seclusion. The sport and spa facilites are neat and the treatments we had worth the money.
The restaurant merely feels like a canteen with tables and chairs squeezed into a tiny area and arranged in a grid layout. There is a reasonable selection of food for breakfast. Dinner was okay, the quality provided made us think of industrialized food. Therefore we opted to have dinner at different restaurants in the vicinity. Their options are not great either and after a week you start feeling tired of the same kind of food. Moreover, the area around the hotel seems run down and polluted. Definitely not a place you want to go on lengthy walks.
We booked a suite with private pool since we wanted to enjoy some tranquility. The description on Casa Cook‘s website advertised privacy and amongst other things, an outdoor shower. And this is were the negative review starts:
Nor does the villa with private pool offer maximum privacy or an outdoor shower. It turned out they recently built a row of side by side rooms with a little backyard and stone walls to separate you from your neighbors.
Since we wanted to make sure to get the full picture ahead of our vacation, we contacted Casa Cook by email twice. None of the emails were answered.
When asked at checkout how our stay was we decided to give them our feedback with full transparency. From the receptionist‘s reaction we could say she wasn’t surprised and received similar complaints before. Her first reaction being „You should have told us before so we had the chance to do something“. Like what? Put us in one of the rooms you actually advertise on your website? There are exactly 2 suites matching that description while they’re selling around 15 more rooms camouflaged as suites.
„Let me know next time you come back and we’ll make up for it“ was another attempt to offer an excuse. Will we come back? Of course not. Nor will we recommend Casa Cook Rhodes to anyone. Main reason being, they failed to take the chance and make up for the mishap on the spot but decided to postpone taking any responsibility for something they are well aware of. Because it’s not that we were the first guests to complain and it’s not that we were complaining about a squeaky bed after ten days. We were complaining about something they were well aware of for quite a while (see other reviews from previous guests) and they conciously decided not to do something about it. It feels they decided just to go on with it, providing their guests the same excuse over and over again. This left us with some feeling of betrayal.

I really enjoyed our stay at Casa Cook. It was soo nice and relaxing. We had a swimup room, with views to the mountain. It was very luxurious to be able to just open the door and jump in the pool and since almost all (or all?) room have their own pool/shared pool it was not crowded at all in our shared pool but almost felt like a private one.
Therefore, the atmosphere at the larger, common pool was also really relaxed.
If you just want to chill and have a relaxing time at the hotel - this is the place for you!
I would definitely visit this hotel again.
It has nothing to do with the hotel, but be prepared that there are not really anything happening around the hotel.
The town where casa cook is situated is nothing special (however beatiful nature) nor have nice restaurants (some budget ones with decent food for sure, but that's it).
