Excellent, from start to finish

Location was excellent. Though we arrived very late (around midnight), staff welcomed us and took the time to show us around. Security is top notch. The apartment was clean, spacious and very well maintained. Apartment cleaning was done every day.

No generator during loan shedding which was a bit inconvenient.

V&A Waterfront apartment

Liked the location,overlooking canals. Felt safe and security staff were very helpful. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and lots of African street entertainment.

Trying to find the reception area. We drove around in circles trying to find the entrance. Signage needs greater improvement. Even Avis car hire couldn't find it when we returned our hire car! Some TLC is needed in the apartment we stayed in. I defrosted the freezer it was so bad. The iron needs replacing. Basic maintenance like light bulbs and bathroom extractor fan? And a decent set of kitchen knives - trying to skin a mango with a 9" knife wasn't easy.

The position to waterfront excellent

The power backup system made a terrible noise during the hours of sleep. The unit of the bedroom should have a separation panel to avoid any noises from kitchen dinning area. It’s more like a studio apartment than a one bedroom apartment.

Best location, with the best views in Cape Town.

The staff at the reception was good but not very friendly.

I filled-out all the information and paid in advance as requested prior to arriving. However, I had to wait and fill out the same forms again. Very frustrating. Why waste my time and ask for the same info twice?

9 days in Cape Towns

Great location by V&A waterfront. Easy walking to ferries, tour buses, restaurants and shops. Grounds beautifully kept. Very safe. Staff helpful. Apartment cleaned every day. Big quiet and comfortable bed. Wifi good.

Couldn't turn bedroom light off from bed. A bedside lamp would be good.

The location of the apartment was excellent for us, however I was disapointed with some aspects.

The apartment was spacious and well furnished. Great outlook over the waterfront with spacious balcony to enjoy the view from. Security was excellent. Front office staff were friendly as were the security staff.

The double bed mattress was uncomfortable and sagging in the middle, it felt like it had seen better days! Toilet in the ensuite dripped constantly and the shower in the second bedroom could not drain properly. We had requested that both get looked at. The shower was attended too on 3 ocassions and we were assured each time that it was fixed, but it was not, as a result we were left to use one shower. No one attended the toilet at all. We gave up asking after a while. There was no safe for our use in the room as the only safe,were were told, was the owners personal safe and was locked. The glass doors to the ensuite in both bedrooms left no privacy and this was a problem each time someone wanted to use the bathroom.

Most enjoyable, will certainly go back

Check in was very courteous and professional, place was so nice and peaceful and the view is lovely. Everything was comfortable and clean. |Really enjoyed the location. Thank you.

Excellent location for family!

The property is at a great location, walking distance to restaurants, mall , aquarium and lots more activities. Very clean and comfortable with daily cleaning. The kitchen has all the basics.

Brilliant spacious apartment with cracking views. Would definitely recommend.

Everything the view was amazing the apartment very spacious. The swimming pool was lovely. Felt very safe. This is the ideal place to stay for a group of girls.

Will definitely be back!

Great apartment within a short, safe walk of the V&A wharf. Strict security process was run very efficiently.

No fault of the owner but Load shedding twice a day for 2 to 3 hours at a time led to some noise as the inverters recharged but it didn’t spoil our stay.

Location, staff, security, amenities, all excellent!

Did not manage to get the dryer to work. And if a bottle of water was included upon arrival, it would be higher levels of heaven.

Good location and low rise. The shared pools were good but a little hard to find.

The location was great.

There was no sun at all on the balcony due to the way the apartment faced. Others did have some sun.

pleasant. could not spend much time at the apartment due to loadshedding

there was no aircon although on booking it says it has aircon. there was not even 1 fan in the apartment. the complex has to also consider accommodating for load shedding which was 3/4 of the stay. to not even have a generator that accommodates for a couple of light, TV and basic essentials is completely disappointing especially with the standards of this complex.

Great location in Cape Town, lovely apartment

Lovely apartment, great location just a few minutes walk from the V & A waterfront. Very clean. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment so loads of room. Nice big balcony overlooking the canal.

It would have been useful to have had a bit more information about where to collect and deposit keys. Pools (although there were several of them) were not as good as expected. Big problem for us was the power outages which we had not been aware of. Although not the fault of the property, 2 or 3 outages of 2+ hours a day had a big impact on our enjoyment. The property did not have a generator so no power, no wifi for at least 2 periods every day.

The Penthouse was amazing and unexpected. The view was Breathtaking; the modern interior design made it feel like a home away from home
