Top location for one night but…

Top location next to Bondi, spacious and well thought out layout, with interesting finishing touches. Friendly and responsive team that did their best to check us in early and very useful and secure space for our luggage.

Zero sound insulation from other rooms, could hear absolutely everything, footsteps, voices, coughing, flushing toilets etc. Not enough ventilation; the room felt stuffy and hot, with only one ceiling fan and no AC. Not clean enough, there was a musty smell especially in the kitchen; the floor was sticky and our towels were rather worn.

Fantastic, stylish space just a minute from Bondi Beach

A very stylish and welcoming space perfectly located just a minute from Bondi Beach. The spacious suite was well equipped and very comfortable with a compact kitchen / dining room and gorgeous bed linen. There is a lovely communal garden where you can eat breakfast or as we did - enjoy a late night drink. Fresh fruit, chocolate, breakfast biscuits and delicious granola were provided on arrival which was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend staying here. Top tips - Take a swim in the Bondi Icebergs pool just 3 minute walk from the house. If you go out for dinner, skip dessert and head to Gelato Messina nearby where the queue for ice cream stretches right up the street (it's that good!).

Quaint room near Bondi Beach but no view

Very close to beach, Nicely decorated. bed was comfortable apart from pillows being too soft, room was clean. Staff were very pleasant and friendly.

There was no window that could be looked out of - bit like being in a cell. Dishes had to be washed in the bathroom sink as the "kitchenette" had no sink. No proper tea cups only very small cups with no handle. Breakfast was only muesli or waffles.

Cozy cottage right by the beach

The property was cozy and located just steps away from Bondi Beach and lots of restaurants/bars/shops. It was very easy to access public transportation from the beach house. Hosts were fantastic and easy to communicate with. I loved the personalized welcome note and breakfast basket! Check-in and check-out were easy and flexible. Would definitely stay here again!

There was some construction going on next door that started at 0700 both (weekday) mornings I was there, but that is the only downside to my stay.

An experience which exceeded our expectations

we loved the location, everything in walking distance, loved how the room is styled, and loved the breakfast

Pleasant

Fantastic location - beach, shops and cafes very close. Good size for four people. Comfy beds and bedding.

Very dark accommodation, difficult to even see the sky to check weather conditions outside. More external lighting needed - dark down the side path and on the stairs. More cutlery needed. A cooking /reheating method would be nice - microwave. Funny smell in the kitchen, damp smell in the bathroom.

A quiet oasis on the edge of Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach House was a beautiful quiet oasis only 5 minutes away from the fun, hustle and bustle of Bondi Beach. We had a wonderful time at Bondi Beach enjoying the fantastic atmosphere, watching the surfers enjoying the waves and soaking up the beautiful views. The sunset and sunrise were stunning. It was great to have a very clean and comfortable base so close all of the activity. The room had a help yourself breakfast area which was perfect for our busy stay with delicious natural healthy snacks and some chocolate treats to cap of the day with a refreshing cup tea. The bed was very comfortable and had natural fibre bedding to keep you cool but snug at the same time. Thank you for such a lovely stay. A perfect end to an amazing time in Australia and New Zealand.

Perfect location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great communication from the property prior to arrival.

An extra mirror outside the washroom would have been useful. Also would have liked to have shampoo and conditioner. Small complaints, though. Overall fantastic.

A very pleasant if too hot stay!

A really nicely furnished room with lovely linen sheets and great breakfast.

It was really hot in Sydney and we couldn’t easily get air to flow through the room without leaving the outer door open. The small electric fan looked very stylish but sadly was really ineffective. If they could put in a ceiling fan (don’t like air conditioning!) it would have made all the difference. In slightly cooler weather the place would be perfect!

our stay in gumleaf sweet was memorable, but basic

the location! the best you can have in Bondi, you can literally walk anywhere in 5 minutes!

the hotel was lovely and very charismatic and authentic. however, I missed a nice window and sunlight in our room (gumleaf) especially after 4 nights. the shower overflows, nothing you can do about that. but the beds are the most comfortable you will ever have. the furniture and design are beautiful too. but overall, I am giving an 8 instead of a 9 because the price - quality is a little out of balance, the room was never made up again (4 nights) and the walls were quite noisy. lovely hosts and atmosphere really made up for a lot though

Brilliantly unique accommodation in Bondi Beach

Our room was spacious, exceptionally clean and well furnished. The location was brilliant, with the beach, restaurants and public transport all within easy walking distance. Communication from staff was fabulous and the check-in process was easy. Highly recommended!

Very good

It was very centrally located. Comfortable bed. Easy check in and kept well informed by owners on how to get in, door code etc.

It was very dark with virtually no natural light and i found this quite oppressive. Glad i was only there for 1 night because i would have found it very hard to be here for a longer stay.

Just perfect! Beautifully styled and quiet accommodation just one street back from the beach. I absolutely loved my stay and appreciated all the lovely touches - T2 tea and lovely breakfast hamper.

Would stay again

We stayed in the Garden room which had beautiful decor and lovely northerly aspect. It was only a short walk to the beach and the centre of Bondi giving us easy access to everything. Big thanks to the staff who were really helpful with confirming our booking and checking in. All round great experience and would stay again.
