first day was excellent. I loved the room and my entire visit with something I won’t forget. I will definitely stay ther

this is a very quaint manner decorated appropriately for the time it was built the decorations are beautiful. I got a European feel to it, and the staff was excellent.

The bathroom could’ve been updated a little bit, even using antique looking updated hardware and decorations that are appropriate for the room but easier to use.

Awesome staff, great location and a grand old lady provided an excellent stay for us in Victoria.

The Staff were outstanding. They made the difference! The girls made us feel comfortable and very welcome. They had a repore with every one staying there.

I think it is the best it can be.

Exceptional

Our room on the top floor was amazing. The view of the water and the Olympics was beautiful. The bed was so comfortable. Our room had everything we needed.

The breakfast was just mediocre. Not much change from day to day. Flavor was very bland, it seemed very basic.

We had a fantastic time in Victoria and a big part of that was the Dashwood Manor ,thank you

Very good

The breakfast was nice with a relaxed atmosphere and tasty food. Located outside of town a bit, but nice to walk to town through Beacon Hill Park. apx 1.1 mile one way. Very nice staff. Located across the street from the strait of Juan De Fuca at a busy intersection but quiet at night. Cross the street and enjoy miles of nice walking trail along the water. Lots of dogs on the pathway. If you enjoy the B&B style than this is a nice choice for you.

Full size bed is small but as advertised. I believe they have rooms with larger beds. The view from the window is a bit nicer than we expected.

Fantastic location, beautifully decorated and very welcoming staff who were happy to tell the history of the Manor House. Waking up and seeing the ocean was pretty special. Hope we can visit again.

This was a perfect B&B for a romantic get away. We stayed in the Windsor Oak room, which had a warm welcoming atmosphere, with beautiful paneled walls, victorian furnishings, jacuzzi tub. The staff was very welcoming, knowledgeable of the history of the house and the surroundings. Kayla was wonderful during our stay, in addition, she got us set up with the Transit App on our phone and navigated us through for the bus system. We can't thank her enough for her help and friendliness.

Dashwood Manor 2 night stay.

Loved our 2 night stay. Lovely location, over looking the sea. Right opposite Beacon Hill Park. Easy walking distance to Victoria. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Kyla who made our stay even better. Thank you

The perfect unforgettable Victoria experience

My experience from the minute I booked until I handed in the keys was exceptional. I could not say enough about the friendliness of the two staff members I interacted with. I had several special requests that they accommodated without hesitation. The room exceeded my expectations and was such a treat from the typical hotel space. I wanted to give my sister in law who just lost her husband and flew in for a one day visit a wonderful Victoria experience and the room, location and overall experience was perfect. For me it was a wonderful “staycation”.

There is absolutely nothing about the total experience I didn’t like!

Better listing description, revamping of breakfast and a good spring clean are needed

Loved the woodwork and the view. Staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable.

Main reasons for renting the room were the fireplace and jacuzzi tub but the fireplace is inoperable and noise restraints prevent using the tub jets after 10pm (our 8pm dinner reservation made that impossible) also no candle was permitted with the bath. Many rules/consequences listed and mention of cctv cameras prevented us from relaxing and enjoying our time yet were not mentioned in listing. Greeted by an envelope on our pillow requesting gratuities (no chocolate or local coupon), water from taps in room was undrinkable and no bottled water was provided in our fridge (but an old popsicle was) The bedside plugs were behind the tables and low by the floor, magnificent chandelier was incredibly dirty and a musty smell to the room, showerhead required replacing or cleaning, spider and lady bugs in the bed, I was told my card would not be charged and payment would be taken at hotel but it was charged and no one answered my email how to switch the charges to my partners card, breakfast was underwhelming (small cup of yoghurt with 2 tiny fruits and a teaspoon of thin granola, no choice was offered not even how the eggs are cooked) We had to wait (very hungry) for 3 hours after waking to find this out. It would have been amazing to have some good quality coffee and water in our room and perhaps a selection of fresh fruit and pastries in the dining room to tide us over.

It was a nice stay. I expected more for what we paid.

The views were very nice.

Unfortunately there is a dog park directly across the street and there was a lot of barking in the morning. It was also a busy location with speeding traffic sounds. The floor above us on the third floor was loud with much movement. I think that was possibly staff. In the hallway there was a rollaway bed that didn’t move all weekend. I didn’t want to see that. The breakfast was nice but the tiny packaged creamers and packaged butter and cheap napkins gave it a diner feel.

Very pleasant, comfortable bed, nice large tub.

Great water view, next to park, close to restaurants.

Breakfast starts at 8:30, meaning you can't really get out before 9:00-9:15. Sometimes I'd like to start my day earlier.

We loved it. We'd recommend it for sure.

The Dorset room had a lovely view and was a very quaint and comfortable with a lot of space. The staff was delightful and the property is lovely. The breakfast was a nice treat each morning and we especially loved the availability of beverages and cookies during the day.

The bed was a little soft :)

Thicker curtains to keep out the light and a better quality jam for the toast!

Beautiful place for a truly relaxing stay.

Beautiful bed and breakfast, the rooms were very rustic! There is breakfast and they were offering contactless check in during covid. Beautiful view Saw a million dogs walking on the path across the street - you should stay here for this alone !!

It is a Bit far from the main area if you aren't driving but it sure seems worth it !
