Wonderful accommodation! Wonderful staff! Highly recommended

Great location! Just a 10 minute walk from the waterfront , but a lot more peaceful and quiet than staying in all the hustle and bustle! Super comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom with free standing bath! Lovely pool area and big front private terrace ! All the staff are super friendly and polite and make you feel very welcome

Traumhafter Aufenthalt in Kapstadt

Die Inhaber und das Personal sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man hat sich sehr familiär aufgehoben gefühlt. Es gab nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat, von der Ausstattung bis hin zum Service war alles bestens 👍 Wenn wir nach Kapstadt zurück kommen, dann definitiv hier hin! Das Frühstück ist zwar überschaubar, aber von bester Qualität und völlig ausreichend. Der Pool könnte ein bisschen wärmer sein, aber auch das war in Ordnung. Von hier aus kann man überall gut hin starten. Bokap ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar und auch zur waterfront sind es nur circa 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und modern eingerichtet. Bob, der Security Beauftragte in der Nacht, war ebenfalls super und hat uns ein Lunchpaket für unseren Ausflug zusammen gestellt. Es waren einige deutsche Touristen anwesend, sodass man schnell ins Gespräch gekommen ist.

Der Safe in unserem Zimmer war im Schrank sehr schwer zu erreichen und man musste sich immer hinknien, um diesen zu öffnen. Das könnte man vielleicht ein bisschen anders machen. Auch wäre ein weiches und ein hartes Kissen von Vorteil, damit man wechseln kann.

Luxury stay in Cape Diem

Stunning property, all furnished beautifully and everything was brilliant quality. Staff were excellent and couldn’t have been anymore helpful.

Great location, easy to get to from the airport and good value for money. Melina was a great host and couldn't have been more helpful during my short stay. Rooms had plenty of space and would recommend to others staying.

Visiting Cape Town? Stay here.

We visited Cape Diem Lodge for our honeymoon, over a two week period in august. From the moment we checked in we were made to feel welcomed by management and staff. We also availed of the hotels recommended guide for table mountain and cape point, and would highly recommend asking if interested. The hotel also organised an airport pick up for us, ensuring our honeymoon was smooth sailing from the moment we touched down in Cape Town.

Totally recommended for a few days in beautiful Cape Town

Great staff. Melina was a gem with her smile and recommendations. Ladies at breakfast were really nice and attentive. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Large room very cosy. Very safe feeling.

If I need to say one thing I’d say the noise of the wood floor when people check late. Our room was close to the entrance door. But it’s just to say sthg

Beautiful lodge near the waterfront

Beautiful house located in a beautiful neighborhood in Cape Town close to the waterfront. The staff was very friendly and they even had a house cat who loved cuddles! The breakfast was really tasty, with a variety of bread, cereal, fruits and cheeses and cold cuts. The bedrooms were very comfortable.

My room was located outside the main building and very exposed to the winds and rain we had in the first few days of our stay which made it all so noisy it was difficult to sleep. The AC in the room didn’t quite heat up the room properly and it felt quite cold.

Exceptional

This is my second time staying at Cape Diem Lodge and it won't be the last. Thanks to Melina I was able to check in early after a long flight. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you for always providing a great experience and I will definitely book with you the next time I'm in Cape Town!

Lovely boutique hotel with amazing service.

Lovely boutique hotel. Amazing breakfast, super friendly staff. Only let down for us was our room was damp, this meant we didn’t really enjoy being there so stayed out of it as much as possible.

For a perfect stay in Cape Town

Our stay at Cape Diem was wonderful. Everyone, from the owners to the entire staff, was lovely and so helpful! Even the house cat greeted us lovingly when we returned from all our outings.

Passable

The room was not very clean. After turning on AC some black ash starter to fall out from it to bed linen and didn’t stop so we had to sleep without AC. Mattress was also very uncomfortable and crushed. The room was very compact.

great location and lovely to stay. Excellent friendly staff

location is excellent. We were doing the cycle tour, so were too early for breakfast. They made us some sandwiches which were excellent. A free drink on arrival and coffee and tea available in the lounge whenever you wanted was a really nice touch.

parking in the street. Although they did accommodate us in the garage there is only parking for 2 vehicles so check if available if you do need parking.

Would recommend to anyone coming to Cape Town and would absolutely stay again!

Cape Diem was a wonderful stay! Property was very comfortable, well decorated, and staff was wonderful. We felt safe, well taken care of and that all our needs were met. The manager, Melina, was always checking in to make sure we had all that we needed. Samuel, the night staff manager, was very friendly and brought smiles to our faces. We also enjoyed getting to pet Kai, the property cat!

Excellent breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool. Nice secure site in a good location within walking distance of the V&A.

Exceptional service and great location.

The historical aspect of the house, the staff especially Glenda, and location. Bianca and Daniel were amazing. The fresh breakfast was delicious each morning. We truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

Super friendly and nice location for Capetown explorers.

Super friendly and cozy place with quite large rooms, good starting location to explore Capetown. Nice outside area for a dip in the pool or chill-out in the sun.

You may hear a bit the noises through the doors, but this wasn’t really bothering.
