The staff was very service minded and helpful. The hotel is well appointed and comfortable. The area around the swimming pool is very nice, and the bar makes really a nice cappuccino. The hotels also provides a good breakfast.

The hotel is located a little bit further away from the V&A Waterfront than one would perhaps assume (judging by the map). However, the hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from said location every hour.

The pool beds were clean and comfy and the pool food menu was excellent - very enjoyable food at an extremely reasonable price. We ate there every day and the food and service were excellent.

The breakfast was on every occasion a shambolic event. There was plenty of food of a good standard but queing for hot food was time wasting and the cooking did not seem particularly hygenic - sorry but we did complain to the front desk on day 1 and were told everything was OK.

The location was perfect

It was really difficult to lay outside by the pool area and order something to eat. The staff took too long just to bring us hot milk for a baby.

The location was great with 10 min walking distance to Waterfront. Breakfast was good with a huge vareity.

The pool was terrible, dirty and when we complained the answer was, its going to be cleaned but nothing happened for three nights. Tea bags, napkins and children fully dressed is not acceptable. We booked a family room, wheelchair accessable but very small with two twin beds 140 cm

The hotel staff were great and very friendly. Great breakfast selection and a kid friendly hotel - they gave little Easter eggs to everyone. That was sweet!

The staff at the bar, though not all, could be a lot more attentive and professional.

The breakfast was great. The room was well equipped to our needs and we got proper support when we requested. We got assistance even with the elevators.

The dinner menu did not have enough for my no-red-meat diet wife. We had to eat outside but the breakfast we could do so.

The room was not cleaned on the one day. Had to call to have it cleaned, No one came , Had to go down to request cleaning. We had to sit and wait at the next hotel while it was cleaned. Not enough toilet paper and towels. Had to call twice to have it replenished. Not the Southern Sun Standard I like am used to

We were promised an event post-race that the hotel changed the time on, and it was an impossibility to be there when they rescheduled it for, and the change was never communicated to the people PAYING to stay there. When the hotel restaurant manager was confronted about the issue he essentially had a "too bad" attitude. He then agreed to comp us dinner and when I checked out they had charged the dinner to my room.

The buffet is very expensive and doesn't consider vegetarians. I could eat very little food for the amount I had to pay. The hotel should consider a reduced rate for kids and vegetarians/ vegans.
