Generally very good, communication is pre-arrival poor, all staff professional and courteous.

As always, great accommodation and facilities "pool side", having the bar open until 11 o'clock was a welcome bonus and it ensured there remained a little life into the evening, we didn't need to leave the complex for a drink and chat. Sauna, pool and garden were all spotless. All staff professional and courteous.

'Once again' there was maintenance work going on; this time at the front (but within) the complex. Generally speaking they were quiet and not particularly intrusive, but the front of the complex was very dusty and we had to step over / around work in progress. We were not informed of this prior to arrival, on arrival we received a letter from reception explaining the work. For context, one year my week away was cancelled by VB with a weeks notice, another year there was no electricity or water on arrival - both as a result of essential maintenance but was handled acceptably at the time. Feedback I keep giving is "please let us know well in advance of any planned or ongoing maintenence or disruptive works, so that we can decide whether to continue with the original dates or rearrange". Pre-arrival communication about maintenance remains my only complaint about VB. The Wifi at the bottom of the garden is sporadic.

so saddened this has ruined my previous visits to the resort which has a taped sign on the office door with Booking 9.5

I will be sending a full compliant to MOW as I booked two apartments for a long life friend who has a disability. No management on duty, bartenders great but communication in English was virtually non existence. The focus is on sister resort …. no one to help with my needs. 7 is there focus, I asked where could I get help but they told me ‘everybody is at 7’ My frustration was so bad, I went to find alternative accommodation but this upset my friend as he was settled. I didn’t want to upset him. My forth visit to Vista Bonita, especially upsetting as my friend (who also paid full price) was upset with me for trying to get help. disgusted, safety security non existent no need to put the code in to enter resort, you pull the doors. I was told that is not our contractor. Guy wondering around late at night. I was suspicious and asked him to leave! those that have been before will understand you leave your patio doors open. My friend was worried but I assured him we would see out the week and continued to assure him it was safe as I promised him! loads more, staff as usual very kind and lovely but with no management until our departure finally met Dorian who advised he was proud of the groups management experience.

After falling outside alone, my friend was sleeping I needed help next day. only person that could help me on the Sunday was Belem the housekeeping staff who told me where to find a doctor.

Great place.to relax

Friendly, quiet, sunny, great views, onsite cats, nearby Spar, lovely pool area. Yumbo and beach are walkable, but buses and taxis are needed as it's quite a long walk over roundabouts

Very friendly, south facing, lovely views. Good value for money

Very easy and straight forward check in. Very friendly staff, everyone was so welcoming. Very clean, rooms great. The bed was really comfortable. Very well maintained rooms, I always came home to a perfectly tidied room.

clean - convenient - and just cannot fault the hotel. Maxssimo (bar man) is absolutely lovely and receptionist who sorted my friends birthday out… thank you a million!!

Amazing LGBT resort with relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

It was our second time here this year. We feel like it is one of the few places where we really feel at home. Staff is incredibly nice and efficient, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable, sauna and pool are brandnew. And the guests are in general relaxed and you can easily make friends with other guests. The music coming from the Bar and pool area was just not loud at all this time so we could even enjoy "siesta" in the afternoons, we appreciate that gesture a lot. We are cat lovers so we specially book this resort as there are some cats in the resort you can feed and caress and helped us not to miss our cat so much.

There is only one thing we didn't like: some guests smoke in the breakfast area while still sitting and having BF, that should not be allowed, it is disgusting for non-smokers to smell cigarettes while you try to enjoy food. A little sign asking to refrain from smoking during BF would be of great help!. It is located a bit far from Yumbo Center or the Beach/Dunes but you can either walk 30 to 40 mins, take a cheap bus or ask for taxi, we tried all these. Besides that, there was absolutely nothing we didn't like! We'll come back for sure very soon!

PERFETTO TUTTO

I start by saying that this is the fifth time I have returned to this Resort in the last 7 years, I have a great time I love this place and how it is made. I would also like to point out that the cleanliness is exceptional, I thank in particular Belen who is an attentive, clean and caring lady, Massimo who is at the Bar who is really nice and sociable as well as professional. I promised myself to thank those I met for their skill and professionalism and I am in addition to Belen and Massimo, Antonio, David, Manuel, Raul, Nicel, Gessy and Mariola. We had a great time and will definitely return.

I would highly recommend staying here if you're gay/bi/queer!

The staff was super nice and interacted with me a lot. The breakfast options were good, and so was the coffee. The pool was really nice too! The room cleaners also did a very good job. The location wasn't bad, just a quick taxi ride to Jumbo Center and beaches.

The Jacuzzi/hot tub could have been warmer.

Everything. What an amazing hotel. Everyone from boys on reception especially Jose to the domestic staff and the jewel in vista bonitas crown David the lovely man that ran the bar. One of the loveliest most helpful people I have met in all the hotels I have stayed over years. This was such a lovely place to stay. Apts are modern and so comfortable. Will never stay anywhere else when I return to GC.. lovely vibe about the place. Made friends for life here.

Having to leave. I ended up extending for three days but had to eventually say goodbye to return to UK reality and work.

Relaxing, beautiful little hotel which is super chilled.

I liked a lot of things about the Vista Bonita. The heated swimming pool is one of the things that really makes this place. The rooms are lovely, clean and well maintained. I liked the new media system they have as well. The jacuzzi (although it would benefit from an upgrade). The sauna also could benefit from an upgrade. The rooms were lovely and the staff were all generally beautiful. I think all in all, this place is a little haven slightly offset from the main hustle and bustle of the Yumbo centre et al.

The hot tub and the sauna need an upgrade. I hear they are going to put a gym in place which is fine but I think it would be nice in the corner with a hot tub and sauna still. The place has lost a little bit of the friendly and community feel to it which is a shame. This could be helped by perhaps trying to engage people a bit more with each other. This is down to go bar staff and guests who are willing to chat but perhaps it was just a busy time of year.
