Undermaintained for how far from central Ubud it is.

Not much, we ended up cancelling and the owner was understanding. Fine if you’re on a budget and willing to accept under maintained facilities and happy to travel for meals in Ubud.

The room had a bad smell and we asked for something and weren’t helped, the facilities were not well maintained and seemed abandoned, the entrance is next to a construction site which looked like a rubbish tip, also cars can’t access the long driveway and it was very muddy in front of the rooms. The staff had limited English which made it a bit more challenging.

كان يحتاج فقط إلى ازالة شباك العناكب بشكل دوري لانها متواجده في كل زاويه

Terrible experience

We had to leave early because the hotel was terrible. No help from the hotel, and booking.com offered some points to book another hotel. However, we still haven’t received anything.

Beautiful views

The hotel is a bit out of Ubud and has beautiful views into the valley. Beds were comfy and the staff was super friendly.

The outside part of our AC unit was behind a thin wooden door (basically in a closet) of our room. Therefore it was really noisy to listen to all night.

Sehr angenehm

Das Frühstück war sehr einfach aber Frisch. Es gab Obst und Bananenpancakes. Der Kaffe war das Einzige was mir persönlich nicht geschmeckt hat und Milch gabs dazu auch nicht sondern Pulvermilch. Das Obst und die Pancakes waren sehr lecker. Das Zimmee war sauber und Ordentlich und das Bett bequem. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig aber morgens ab 7:30 ist die Geräuschekulisse schon vorhanden: der Hahn und die Katzen die auf dem Dach rumhüpfen. Aber nichts davon so dramatisch das man nicht weiter schlafen könnte. Der Pool ist sehr schön und man blickt direkt in den Dschungel vom Pool aus so das die Atmosphäre auch sehr schön und idyllisch ist. Die Unterkunft bietet auch Roller an für einen sehr fairen Preis. Im Großen und Ganzen sehr zufriedenstellend und für das wenige Geld echt eine tolle Unterkunft.

Der Kaffe war nicht so lecker und man muss ein wenig warten bis warmes Wasser kommt. Aber das ist ja wahrscheinlich überall so auf Bali.

Amazing place to stay!

The staff were awesome and super friendly. Loved staying here! Room was cozy and the outdoor space was just beautiful. It was also quiet (except for the morning roosters lol).

There were a lot of bugs/animals running around outside but that can’t really be helped!

Disappointing

The view was really nice. The shower was also great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The place was quite noisy. We were woken up every single night from noise coming from the courtyard behind the hotel. This isn't the hotels fault of course, but it was unpleasant. At one point someone starting playing music at 3am which woke us up. Some of the other guests were also quite noisy. It also rained a lot during our stay, which wasn't an issue until I was woken up several times during the night because the roof leaked. The next day the stains on the canopy made it obvious that this had happened before so we didn't bother asking about it at the reception. The breakfast isn't recommended, it was cold (even the fried egg) and clearly not freshly made. Not worth the price.

Comfortable stay but in need of some TLC

Friendly staff, beds really comfy and my one had a mosquito net around it which was helpful/needed, I was able to book a floating breakfast (for one person) however it was raining in the morning so I cancelled - they still wanted me to pay for it but I refused

The rooms majorly need better cleaning - lots of dust/hair/bugs etc especially under the bed, the netting around the bed had stains on it, towels also had stains, spotted some animals sitting in the beams in the roof, TV didn’t have any signal (can only use apps on it), air con was leaking and dripping on to the floor, pool was smaller than expected, not many restaurants around the hotel and it’s a half an hour walk into the centre so you’re a bit out of the way and the Gojek/grab apps don’t always deliver there

-AC was loud -constructions in front of the hotel -you have to look for the staff for more than 5 min to finally get an answer -asked for a floating breakfast but they said they don't have it -asked for normal breakfast and it was horrible

it was close from where we moved

pleasant

it’s a very pleasant establishment. Nice big bed. Netflix on tv. breakfast is nice.

Where it is situated has a lot of wildlife. lots of mosquitoes and lizards. Throughout the night there was a weird noise in the roof like knocking and then a huge hornet looking thing appeared that I had to catch (I set it free) so there might have been a nest in my roof.

I had a pleasant stay at Graha Petulu! The quiet atmosphere is perfect for a break from busy bustling city life

Staff were very helpful and polite, room was comfy and clean (was very happy to found Netflix and Youtube were available on the TV as well!), personally love the pool area as it was always peaceful and empty

Access for car is a bit tricky as the street leading up to the property is super narrow

Great and cozy hotel

Cozy hotel with very kind staff. Great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Ubud.

You need to book in advance if you want breakfast. If you don't, you have no other options nearby to eat. It is not that close to go to Ubud center by walking. You will definitely want a scooter to move around.

this villa has amazing customer service, excellent room, pool area and delicious food, everything is perfect! the staff was so nice and caring, the breakfast was delightful. the room is spacious and very clean. the villa also have excellent facilities. Thank you to the entire staff at Graha Petulu Ubud Villas ! will definitely stay here again 😊
