We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the Rio del Sol Inn was. It is off the freeway and must be well insulated, because we got a great night's sleep. The room was fairly spacious and a good restaurant is within walking distance.n the morning they provided a bagged continental breakfast.

The Check In Was Great, The Fellow Who Checked Me In Was As Nice As Anyone Could Expect. I Can’t Recall His Name, (Maybe Martin) He Read My Room Request and Made It Work Out. Super Cool Hotel on Part of the Old Route 66. Glad I Stayed Here !!!

This inn is very nice in general. The room was clean, the employees were nice, and they have a good supply of snacks and drinks available for purchase in the office. The only issue is even though they are dog friendly, there really isn't a good relief area for dogs. They do have some trees so my boy was satisfied, but a little grass area would have been nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely clean hotel with helpful staff. A little noisy due to lots of workmen staying there - reverse parking their trucks (beeping) and standing around outside rooms talking.

I booked this hotel to have a jacuzzi with granddaughter and enjoy some quiet time. I called and the front desk person told me the jacuzzi was working. When we got there, there was a sign on the door informing us that the jacuzzi was out of order. It was very, very disappointing. Not sure why the front desk person felt the need to give misinformation.

Good place to stay for a stop over in Needles. Staff were excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if in Needles.

Not recommended for Boat parking. They favor and/or accommodate RailRoad vehicles. That purposefully park so no one can park in between. You pay to stay there and you are expected to park across the street away from the hotel. We Didn’t even stay here. Ended up going to another hotel where they accommodated our boat parking.

The place was very nice. The credit card reader was down when we arrived so we were told we had to give $50 cash for a deposit and we weren't allowed to leave until 7:30 am. When I checked with the overnight desk clerk, an older hateful woman, she was atrocious. Hateful and would not tell me how soon after 7:30 we could get our money. She then left her shift and didn't even tell the staff we were waiting. We were held hostage nearly two hours from when we needed to leave because of the hateful woman. The check-in gentleman was nice and also the younger woman who checked us out. The overnight clerk should be fired for such horrible customer service. Everything else,but that woman, was wonderful.

Smelled like cigarettes, there was a bee problem at the pool?, clammy, and the eye hole in the door had napkins slammed into it. It was really icky.

I chose very carefully when picking this hotel. I wanted a fitness room and a pool. This place has both, AND a sauna and hot tub. My teenage daughter wasn't allowed in the fitness room since she is under 17. The sauna and hot tub are closed. The pool was a bit slimy and def not clean. Even has a warning on the gate saying be careful of the bees in the pool. I don't know why no one skims it. The room had a bottle of water in the freezer, hair in the tub, and a lot of long brown hairs on the bathroom floor. I did tell the front desk and they offered to change our room. But what good would that do? Housekeeping either cleans properly, or they don't. Changing rooms until i find 1 that APPEARS clean, doesn't actually make it clean. I would not stay here again. Especially at over $100 a night.

Totally remodelled. Nice Clean and Quiet. Hosts were extremely helpful and pleasant. We did not use the swimming pool but it did look very inviting. Many people were enjoying it though. YES of we would stay again if were going to be in this area!!!!

This stay was a pleasant surprise. The staff were polite and helpful. Although the hotel is older, it’s maintained well. Our room was clean and comfortable. Though it’s close to the highway, there isn’t road noise. Our main complaint is the pet area - it’s an undeveloped space next to the hotel. Our dogs tracked in dirt each time they went out, so we had to clean up paw prints before we checked out.

We did not have a reservation and when we walked into the front desk, we were told there were no rooms available. I got on Expedia and was able to book 2 rooms, Went back to the front desk, and the desk person was very surprised. He said the manager should have blocked out that availability.

Everything was great, from check in to check out. Quiet, friendly, and comfortable. The decor is definitely dated, but they’re trying hard and also: who cares? My only complaint was that the pillows were too firm for me. The rest of the experience and amenities made amends for that.
