Room card didn’t work
Took about an hour to get checked in actually in our room

Beautiful with friendly accommodating staff and great location. Cannot wait to come back in the summer!

I don't give anyone or anything 5 stars, but this place was Great. Beautiful all the way around. The only negative, we missed the opening of ski season by a week and most of Telluride was closed. But, Mountain Lodge was just AWESOME.

Only thing we didnt like was there was no shuttle but it was off season . Also keeping the bar at least open woukd have helped.Front desk guys were very awesome. We will come back not during quiet season. But it was beautiful and peaceful.

This was overall a fine stay. Comfortable bed. Different office hours due to the shoulder season. However, the walls are paper thin. I was abruptly woken up at 3 am by my hotel neighbors who were partying. There wasn't anyone at a front desk to call. I would be cautious staying here if you are in town for work. Sounds like it would be a fun place to be if you are only visiting to have fun.

The check in process was frustrating. I was informed that the front desk was only staffed in the off season from 7am-7pm. Knowing that I was going to be late, I was given directions for accessing a lock box for my room key. I got there at 7:20 and the man at the front desk was still there. Rather than trying to assist me he still had me go the the lockbox. However, I had been given the wrong code because the box was already opened. I got not apologies for that but rather a new lock box to try. My mom and sister arrived 45 minutes after me and the same thing. They were texted the wrong lock box number and code. Unfortunately, they had to wait 45 minutes for the manager onsite to call them back

Welcoming staff could have been more helpful.

Parking is a nightmare. Not sure how you fill these rooms with no parking available. Very inconvenient for sure.

Hosts were great. Much more charming inside.

Amazing property! Right in the center of Mountain Village, walking distance to shops, restaurants, food, coffee and a market. You can also walk to the free gondola and take that into town. Property is stunning, rooms are cozy and clean, service was beyond outstanding. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone going to Telluride. The only thing I didn’t love was the valet, and having to call to get your car every time (I was in and out often), but they made it as easy as possible for me and left my car out front which was awesome. Pool is also great, restaurant has the best view. Truly a wonderful place.

Great location! Easy access to gondolas to get downtown

Construction on the building and workers were outside the bedroom window a couple of times. Parking is expensive and inconvenient. The room was tiny with no view. Much too expensive for the room we were in.
2.0
They advertised a 2 bedroom suite when it was actually a 1 bed with a loft.
They also did not notify us that there was construction going on , it was very noisy and impacted parking and valet service.
We had to carry our own gear from car parked down the parking lot.

We had a great stay here close to the Gondola.. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I didn’t give 5 stars because it was under construction and made it difficult to get around the lodge. Otherwise a great stay here.

Staff was sooooo friendly and the room was clean and perfect and the property was quiet. Wonderful stay!

Views were incredible but there was a construction crew on the roof banging away at 9: 00 am.

The setting of the area is nice and quiet. The facilities look outdated. However, they have a plan to remodel the building and some of the them already started. If you drive a car there, it may take some inconvenience time to get the car. They need 15 to 20 minutes ahead of time to get the car for you.

All in all a very disappointing experience- too noisy due to roof being replaced while we were there- our unit was average a bet- when you pay almost $500 a night night you expect a little more! There are so many things I’d like to post here but I just don’t have time- we will never come back to this property.

Beautiful property, the room (2 double beds) was hands down the smallest room we have ever slept in. Nowhere to set your suitcase, nowhere to set a laptop, the bathroom door barely closes around your knees. This was the cheapest room in the area, but still!

Very beautiful area to stay in. However, I did feel it was extremely overpriced for what we got. Hotel room was nice, but the fire alarm was hanging from the ceiling, and the tub's faucet wouldn't turn all the way off. Front desk had said they would have our car pulled up for us at 5:30 am (since we had a long drive ahead of us), and failed to do so. When we got to the front desk, no one was there. Eventually someone came, and I asked for our car. Another traveler came in and asked for their car, and was helped first (even though we had been waiting longer). For $599 a night, I expected better service. It is also not made clear when you book, but it is $28/day for parking. This should be made clear in the booking listing.

The lodge was nice. But it was under construction getting a new roof. This was not disclosed. It made parking horrible. You had to use the valet service and at times waited an hour for your car. The staff was not apologetic and one staff member was very rude. The concierge only told me to get a map when I asked about trails and other things in Telluride. The Gondola system was not explained as we were first timers there. We figured things out eventually. The manager Amber was very nice at check out and discounted our stay. Thank you Amber. If your staff was like you it would have been a great stay.

Very nice hotel in its day. Still a great place but getting outdated. Old TVs, no air conditioning, and general room conditions.

The property is a nice property, and this was our second visit. However, the buildings were all being reroofed. Noisy and big equipment everywhere.

I think the property overall-was adequate. The condo was a bit smaller than anticipated and was not quiet . We could conversations in the room next to us.
Staff were very nice and helpful.

Property had plumbing issues so restaurant closed the whole time we were there. Also repaving driveway, so inconvenient and loud during construction. Still had to pay $28/day for valet service. Room was ok. Should have been cut in rate during the driving resurface and plumbing issues.

The Lodge is beautiful and comfortable. The staff were extremely kind and polite and very helpful. We loved the easy walk to the Gondola and grocery store. The concierge, Chris, was a joy to talk to and he gave us awesome service. We recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Mt. Village in Telluride.

We were informed about an event that would take place on Saturday, that would cause us to not have access to the pool area, etc... no issues for us. What we were NOT told is that construction that was supposed to be completed before the season started wasn't completed. So upon arrival, we were greet at a blocked off driveway by a man telling us we were bring forced to valet park, could drive to our room. So unload and are taken to a room with a view of a grated driveway and noise of construction workers replacing the roof of the building across the drive. If we would have been told about this, we would have stayed elsewhere. The next morning we called the front desk and asked about changing rooms to avoid the noise, traffic, etc... The lady and the front desk was very nice and did help us change rooms. We were good after the room change. We had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and loved it. The reason for this score not being higher, was we were NOT told about the current state of the property and the on-going construction. Because we were not made aware of the current state of the property, we will probably never go back to this location. Sad, because our first visit to this property was GREAT.

I have been to Telluride many times and this was the only negative experience I have ever had. The front desk staff is rude and not accommodating. I did not feel welcome. The last day I was called at 10 am and reminded that I have to leave by 11 am, after check out I wasn't allowed to park on the property for couple more hours until my son's ski race was over. The staff said that "there is additional public parking but they don't know where it is located". It took me an hour to find available parking and I missed my son's race :-(. This has never happened to me. I would definitely not recommend this place. The rest of Telluride was lovely as always.

The heating in the unit was always on because of the poor insulation. We also had a leak in the ceiling. The location and staff were great though!

This is a wonderful place to stay! The room was romantic with a warm fireplace. The staff was very friendly and helpful

The lodge is beautiful but service is just passable and cost of a VERY SMALL room extremely expensive. Telluride is beautiful and worth it, but the lodge is not worth the $$.

Windows and doors are not air tight. Lots of cold air leaking through. Assign free parking on site is great. However, why bother assigned and let someone parked in my space and not do anything about it.
No free shuttle to town during off season is unacceptable for $400.00 per night charge.....

Great views with cozy lodge feel unlike other high rise hotels.
