Nice stay, a bit pricey for what it is but nice spacious and comfortable room.

Room was spacious and comfortable! It has a nice kitchen you can use and the main utilities. Missed breakfast at the hotel but the Kitchen was a nice touch.

I could have used breakfast and the price was a little steep!

Overall, a nice sized room with a comfortable King bed, and a convenient location.

We had no need for the Murphy bed, or the kitchen facilities, but it was nice to have a refrigerator in the room, and the room was spacious. The location was great, near the City Harbour, and Beacon Hill park (and Frankie's diner).

The room was a bit noisy due to traffic outside the window, but we had no trouble falling asleep. Channel selection on the TV was pretty limited.

Walkable, cozy hotel with a kitchen in downtown Victoria, BC

The location is central to many of the top spots in downtown Victoria, it's very walkable to the nearby Beacon Hill Park, the Empress, downtown, the wharf, and more. We booked a room with a kitchen, that came with just about everything we needed. The room was large, and very comfortable for our needs. AC worked great, though a bit loud.

It's an older historic building, so there is no elevator. The parking lot is a bit small, so keep that in mind if you have a larger vehicle.

It was very comfortable and a good place to wrap up our holiday to beautiful Vancouver Island.

We loved that the we were right across from Beacon Hill Park and could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go.

Overall lovely.

Great room layout for the suite. Well equipped kitchen and Appliances. Nice linens, sofa, excellent black out curtains and great tvs. Fantastic location!

An unavoidable repair issue was addressed immediately.

Old but goody

Very clean and well epuiped room, comfy bed and quiet in the heart of down town. Walkable to most things.

Great Room and walking distance to all the shops

Location, and our king suit room came with a complete mini kitchen, which is very convenient when travelling with a baby. Great room and lots of space.

Excellent value for money, great location

We had a room on the second floor. The suite surpassed my expectation, great size with 2 queen beds, a sofa, table & chairs and a full kitchen. I block walking to a lot of tourist attractions

No elevator but that is expected from an older building

walking distance to the downtown area, restaurants and harbour. One of the cheapest options for a downtown stay

The location of the room. It was in the lobby area directly beside the public washroom. Parking used to be free, b ut now they charge. If you are lucky you can find some street parking with limited hours

Location is great!

There was a lot of road noise from my room. You had to keep the A/C unit on in January to drown it out.

The room and location were perfect.

The room was much larger than expected and included a kitchenette.

The only complaint I had for my 2 night stay was the fact that there was construction happening right outside. I spent one day working in the room and it was difficult to concentrate while the mirror directly in front of me was shaking due to hammering. I should have mentioned something but understood that renovations can be somewhat noisy.

Clean, quiet, reasonable room daily rate, very friendly staff, spacious rooms, excellent location

Nothing bad we noticed except the car parking ( we knew there that we need to pay extra $ 10 daily for each car

Great location with amenities to suit our needs.

Comfortable bed, decent kitchenette

Bathroom was a bit tight, and no handheld shower head.

Will return during a better weather season.

The staff was very accomodating during the worst snow storm in recent history. Called for cabs (none available) so we were largely stranded in the Inn. Got take out from the Old Spaghetti Factory, so the kitchen in our room was very useful. The young women on staff that night (Dec. 21, night shift) was charming and helpful. Please make sure she see's this review.

Great location and great value. Spacious room with nice kitchen. Comfy beds. Clean and friendly.

Our room was kind of in the basement -well-windows looking up to the driveway so curtains had to be closed for any privacy. Also footsteps in the suite overhead were quite loud (like in any basement suite). I will definitely stay again because it is so well located and such a good price, but next time I will request to not be on the 1st floor.
