it was okay, more was expected for the price. would not stay here again

ocean front

the comforter was stained, pool water was too cloudy to confidently swim in and all around looked unkept, and there were used drug needles/syringes in the stair well of hotel parking garage.

Excellent staff but a very worn out property

The location is great and the staff were wonderful.

The property is very worn and torn. The beds were in poor shape. It really needs a renovation. Also was not notified by the property that restaurant hours and days were different than advertised.

Fantastic

The guest service representative Christine was the most pleasant. She made my day after such a long travel day she was absolutely fantastic and knowing that kindness is free she is such a ray of sunshine as being the first person I encountered Rather than the person I spoke to on the phone about arriving early. I had a couple of questions and before I could get the second one out she hung up. I was grateful it wasn’t her I dealt with when I arrived she seemed to busy. But she was there.

The location,the ocean,the room and the housekeepers was really nice

It was a great place to stay

Clean and the price is as excellent

The breakfast was a little high for the price. They didn’t have turkey produce because I don’t eat pork.

It needs up dated BAD

Every morning the guy told me he would bring me the bill. Breakfast was included. I think I was charged

The rooms were disgustingly dirty. Clipped toe nails on the floor really grossed me out. But the cleaning staff was very polite

Great location. Matttress in bed so uncomfortable can’t sleep

The location

Our king size bed was so uncomfortable that we had to leave a day early. After spending one night in that bed we knew we couldn’t do it a second night when we checked out around 10:00 at night and told the clerk it was because of the bed, he acted like he has heard this before. I don’t spend money to stay in this nice of a hotel to have a bad mattress problem. Never again!!

Horrible, Terrible not good and they acted like it was ok .

It was in a good place for the Jazz Fest !!

It was dirty , it was in need of repairs and it was very expensive to much for what we got .

Close to everything. Convenient location

The breakfast should have been included. It was not worth the price. Food was frozen and just thawed out. No one was eating it. Most hotels for the cost of the room would have included that as a continental breakfast. There was no safe in the room. No microwave. Things I expected at a high cost hotel.

If I would have to paid to come back to this hotel I wouldn't.

The young lady who checked me in was very nice and formative. And that was it as far as me being like.

For the price I paid for the room I expected a better condition, the bathtub was very dirty, the carpet had a horrible smell and the air conditioner sounded like a train. And I don't understand why you don't have any housekeeping on the weekend.

Great stay. Would stay again.

Clean, friendly staff, large room

For the price , the pull out couch bed was really hard to sleep on. Very lumpy. The kids slept on it and seemed fine but one night my husband slept on it with our daughter and his back is still hurting from it being so uncomfortable.

I didn’t like the fact I was sent to a hotel is not the same I saw in the website, they didn’t clean my room , I requested a king side bed and they gave a room with two beds , they said because they had a leaking, I was charged more than $1400 for two night and I think I need my money back because I feel the money I paid is not for the service I got .

Everything was perfect except for the parking situation.

The location of the room was amazing.

Off sight parking was difficult because we are both disabled with handicap parking and the walk in the heat was difficult.

Very poor

breakfast was good

elevator was broken, we got there at 10 am and they told us we could maybe check in early no issues. After 5 hours of no calls we stopped by the front office for them to tell us and everyone else we might not even check in at 4, we had to wait hours to receive blanket and call twice, they charged me to park there but didn't tell me it was a fee until after the charged my visa card. the lady at the front was rude to my mother in law and sister in law. they didn't give us any information on breakfast or the pool hours, ect. it was very chaotic. you had to wait 20 mins for an elevator because they were letting 4/5 people on at a time. beds sunk in.

Solid and positive experience at Courtyard South

Comfortable room, great view, excellent location, the staff was above and beyond expectations, I enjoyed this stay at Courtyard, and would stay there again.

I had a wonderful time and will be looking forward to going back again.

The location and area of the Marriott was a perfect location to go to many of the surrounding stores, food location and entertainment. I love walking on the boardwalk. This time they had food trucks setting up.

Some of the TV channel did not work (BET, ABC or TVLAND)

Have always stayed here due to location and cleanliness.

Was not happy the room wasn't ready at 4 which is check in time. We were put on a list requesting and upper floor king room we paid floor. But at 4pm our room STILL was not ready. It was nearly 5pm before it was ready. They had PLENTY of double bed rooms ready but NO king??? Had be on the check in wait list since 11:30. Why wouldn't they at SOME POINT ask for a king room to be cleaned before 4pm??? Just did not make since to me. We had been on the beach all day and came in at 4 thinking our room would be ready. We were not happy. Manager on site gave us free parking and breakfast for our troubles to help compensate.

First 5 days of the stay were great. Last 2 days sucked.

On the 20th there was a late night party in room 210. Had to call front desk twice. About 8:00 in the morning there was terrible music playing out side that could be heard blocks away. On the 21st there was a late night party again next door. Called front desk 3 times that night but the party continued. Had a early morning flight the next morning and didn’t get much sleep.

The view from the balcony was awesome. Short walk to the beach. Stores and parking close by which was nice.

Noise level was pretty bad being above the vendors on the boardwalk. Bathroom was outdated, had to flush the toilet multiple times to get it to work. Entry door to the room was not functioning properly, had to use the card at least 5 times to get it to work.

Location, general manager was communicative.

Lobby Outdated, dirty looking, non welcoming decor and by staff, staff took a bit to acknowledge you except for general manager. There was no complimentary coffee. Happy hour starts at 6 pm depending when bartender arrive as I was told. Rooms, very outdated, old, dirty, mattress not firm , furniture stained, sink old , cabinets worn. Had to have bug guy come to spray for knats.
