A nice hotel for a short weekend getaway.

Beds are nice, and it's in a fantastic and easy to get to location.

The unattached bathroom is weird and unsanitary. No staff onsite, I didn't see any staff members until we checked out.

Great time to travel to San Juan’s. Midweek in July. We came from AZ to get out of 115 degree weather. Drove around the

1 block from most restaurants in town. Very clean and convenient.

Definitely plan on being back!

Quirky and quiet! We had a rooftop patio to enjoy the sun and drinks on. Location was great and right in the middle of everything to do. Shayla went above and beyond helping me make our stay special on very short notice helping me get champagne and flowers set up with less than 24hrs notice!!

Not having anyone at the front desk took a little adjusting to, but all in all the check in/out experience was simple and fast.

Definitely would stay at this location again!

The hotel itself was the cutest thing ever! It’s right in the heart of Friday Harbor. With its location being right in town, it still had a very private feel too it! It was very clean and comfortable. The bedding was very nice and we slept great!

Housekeeping was a little sporadic. The “do not disturb” signs don’t have very well on the doors, so they would fall down when trying to shut the door resulting in housekeeping walking in on us a couple times.

We enjoyed being close to everything.Bird Rock needs to disclose there's no elevator and no staff.

Great location

We didn't like the fact that nowhere in the room descriptions does it say that there is no elevator. Being older, it's not easy going up and down 3 flights of stairs several times a day, especially with luggage. It would have had an impact on what room we had chosen so, it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Not once during our stay did we see any staff members to answer any questions we may have had or maybe help us with our luggage.It would have been nice to have a staff member there to help the older guests.And also, there was no breakfast.

Superb

Very nice and clean hotel. Even the shared Bathroom is very clean.

I did not realize it was a shared bathroom from the booking. If you dont do the online check in, the check in is at another hotel. But this is obly 2 Blocks away, so not to bad either.

Decent Stay

The room was clean.

When booking I didn’t select a room with a detached bathroom but was somehow given that type of room. I was very uncomfortable with this. I then called and was informed by the hotel property staff that I could purchase another room for more money. I explained to her that I selected the room with the bathroom while booking and was given a price for a room with a bathroom. She responded by saying that the property may not have the correct room description on booking.com. This should not be the guests issue and should be fixed on the site immediately.

Location, location, location. Two blocks from ferry terminal. Everything within walking distance.

No parking. All parking is posted 2 hour limit.

Great location, simple, sweet hotel.

Great location in heart of Friday harbour. Cute courtyard garden and shared sun terraces.

We were in a room on the top floor and despite a ceiling fan and floor fan, it really was an oven.

Perfect for our needs, well appointed, great location and friendly staff.

Sweet place - quiet, great location close to ferry. Staff was very responsive and the remote check-in was flawless. I'd come back in a second.

The room includes access to a nice patio/balcony. But it does not have a window that can be opened for fresh air. At night, I closed the glass door so the room was a little stuffy.

came here for a weekend with the family. this was a great basecamp. walkable to everything in town

very clean. super comfortable bed. a nice private terrace for coffee in the morning. perfect location to downtown shops and restaurants and the ferry.

i thought a little bit expensive - even if it was really clean and well-located.

Exceptional

very accommodating, close to everything, walking distance, all the comforts and amenities you could need, excellent bath products from local lavender farm maker (Pelindaba), friendly and communicative staff, answered all questions with details. we didn’t need much guidance as we kind of self-toured the area, but they made sure we knew they were available. the Marrowstone suite in particular was awesome with the fireplace and private hot tub. amazing experience overall!

Excellent facility and people

The jacuzzi and the bed were very nice. We enjoyed having champagne glasses in the lobby to use for our sparkling apple cider we drank to toast for our anniversary. Even though we never physically seen any employees of the facility, the people I texted with questions were very friendly. Also, liked the lighted remote ceiling fan. Liked having the binders of the restaurant menus so we could plan ahead of what we wanted. Some of them need to be updated.

Bigger hot water heater to heat the water in the jacuzzi longer to fill it up before it turns to cold water. The water wasn't at it's highest level in jacuzzi before it turned cold. Also, they need "C" dowel holder for shower curtain rod because it kept falling down. The first time it hit my husband on his head, but the second time he caught it. After the second time, we left it out until we were done in the jacuzzi. He adjusted it to be a little tighter. The TV could have been a little bigger for the price of the room.

Clean and comfortable in prime location.

Remote access was a little strange at first but worked out well. Very clean facilities and great location in downtown Friday Harbor. Super comfy bed (I want one of those mattresses).

Shared bathroom and price was a bit steep for off-season January.

we didn’t have anyplace to sit and drink our coffee in the morning , a small table and chairs would be nice since there is only the bed or one chair to sit on and 2 full size plates would be nice too!

Very pleasant

Centrally located, very quiet and clean.

Our room didn’t have a functional window. The only window was blocked with the air conditioning system. The room was quite small for my wife and I.
