Very charming hotel , good staff , good location

Charm

I was waiting for a letter from Portugal . I let them know , but they not receveid and the Post Colissimo sent it back to Portugal . I have been at the Post Office and they confirmed . The hotel did not accepted the letter. It was not a big delivery it was just an document .

A superb Parissiene secret in every way.

It’s a beautiful home-from-home, elegant, wonderful staff, glorious breakfasts and comfortable, charming lounge. Have been going for years & will be in years to come. The location is ideal too.

My room was a little fusty & old fashioned. Excellently appointed & in very well kept condition. But it’s a tiny issue that I overcame by burning a candle & swinging wide the blinds to let the sun & the view of the garden pour in!

It was a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT !

Nothing Our friends had a laptop and other items stolen from their room The staff was non responsive to the issue and did not address the cause of the problem The staff were ignorant and non responsive to requests The room was nasty ! Bed was way too small Service was lousy It was the worst stay I have ever had

It put a spring in my step and a smile on my face. I am very grateful for a splendid few nights in this charming hotel.

I stayed at this remarkable property twice in June/July. The first time by myself for a couple of days prior to completing a course in Paris, the second time at the end of my trip with my husband. What a wonderful way to bookend my work/study/vacation of 5 weeks in France. I cannot imagine ever staying anywhere else in Paris. The rooms, the restaurant and lounge areas are beautifully decorated. The staff are cheerful and exceptionally helpful. The location suits us perfectly.

A pleasant spot for rest and relaxation in the center of Paris.

Most of the staff were very polite and helpful. We had problems with Lufthansa not delivering our luggage for 3 days. The front desk staff helped to resolve this. In all respects they were very helpful, but I cannot say that all were equally polite. The breakfast area was very pleasant, with the possibility to enjoy fresh air in their little yard. The location was convenient for walking to most sights in Paris. Our room was not very spacious, but everything we needed was well organized.

There could have been more variety for breakfast. After 5 days, one learns what is tasty and what is not. The sugar coated bread seems to be universally left uneaten by most guest. It can be easily replaced with something that is more appreciated.

Very good

Excellent location not far from Bd Saint-Germain. Traditional Parisian breakfast (22€), excellent croissants.Standard room rather small but clean and stylish. Good for a short stay.

A wonderful hotel, comfortable with a lovely vintage vibe. Breakfast could be improved.

Amazing location in one of the nicest parts of St Germain. Very pretty entrance and courtyard and beautiful conservatory area next to a little garden where you can have a drink, tea, breakfast etc. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and the diptyque products in the bathroom were a nice touch.

The bedding was not the most comfortable - a thin duvet would have been nicer than sheets and multiple blankets. I also had expected more from breakfast - the basic continental was just that - only bread rolls, 1 croissant and 2 pastries - no meat, cheese or fruit to accompany it. As such, I found it to be overpriced, and there are many local cafes where you can get a lovely breakfast nearby. We did not opt for a room with breakfast but ordered it one morning, as the location in the garden was convenient and very pretty

quaint but deceptively small

the standard room is too small and was not functional. the rooms are and passages are very narrow and close. you could hear the occupants in the other rooms using the toilet TV and opening and closing the door creating regular disturbances.

Wonderful place in a wonderful neighborhood

The staff was fantastic from start to finish. The place is very pretty and the public areas are like being in a cozy, beautifully decorated French living room. The location is fantastic.

Great stay in a beautiful hotel, in a great location.

As an Interior Designer, this hotel was just perfect! The decor and layout were just fabulous and it was a pleasure to be there. The location whilst being in a quiet area is perfect for reaching the likes of the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens and the vibey areas of St Germain.
