About this house rental
Situated in Block Island, this charming house for $800 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. *** House does not rent for long weekends*** This updated 2 story farmhouse-style home features 4 upstairs bedrooms, all with Queen beds and memory foam mattresses. An additional downstairs living/bedroom features original built-in bookcases and a queen-size sleeper sofa. The house includes 2 full bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a full kitchen with dishwasher, cable tv, and clothing washer and dryer. A two-side wraparound porch offers stunning views of both New Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean. Just steps from State Beach and Scotch Beach, the house is only a mile and a half from the shops, restaurants, bars, and ferry port of Old Harbor. Rental fee includes all bedding, bath towels, and beach towels. During the months of July-September, this property rents from Saturday to Saturday (shorter stays will be considered but dates must fall between Saturdays.)

We had a relaxing long weekend at the Block Island house. Excellent location with great views of both sunrise and sunset. Very comfortable and clean accommodations. Hunter, our golden retriever enjoyed the large property to roam around. Would come back.

We could not be happier with our stay! You absolutely can not beat the location and views this house has to offer. The host was very quick to respond to every question. New fridge, well stocked kitchen, super easy check-in check-out. The mattresses were cozy. The porch and yard are the best places to hang out! Despite the fact that Mother Nature did not cooperate, staying at O'Brien's house made up for that. The house is spacious, clean and has fantastic views. Phil was so accommodating and made us feel quite welcome.

Charming Seaside Retreat
Our family (grandparents, adult children, grandson & 2 little dogs) loved staying at this cozy, historic farmhouse for an extended weekend. The front porch facing the bay is perfect for relaxing, reading & just visiting. We loved the large lawn and easy, beautiful walk to the beach & town. The hosts were gracious & very responsive.

Thanksgiving getaway
My wife and I and our dog stayed here over Thanksgiving week. Kirsten was extremely helpful and responsive. The check in and out process was great and they were very flexible with regard to ferry times. Beautiful location with great views of the bay and across the street from the beaches. The house is old and charming and well furnished. The property could use some updates but we would definitely stay here again. The communication with Kirsten was so helpful and made us feel welcome.

Best views on the island!
You really can’t beat the views of both the sunrise over the ocean and sunset over the harbor from the wrap around porch. There’s plenty of living space and the open kitchen to dining room make large meals seamless. This is our second time renting from these owners and the process is uncomplicated and reliable. We had a great stay!

Great Block Island House
This was the second year that we have stayed at this property and it was even more enjoyable as the last. Perfect for my family. The owners are great and respond very quickly (not that we had problems) just some general questions. Great porch to sit and have coffee in the morning and sunsets at night. Big yard for the kids to play and easy walk to the beach. What more could you want.

We had the most amazing week in block island- the homestead was just a short walk across the street to scotch beach, and had fabulous sunsets over great salt pond - we would recommend this house and definitely hope to return to stay again!

East Coast Island GEM
My brother and I grew up going to Block Island, so we decided to bring both of our families to experience its MAGIC. The house we stayed at was in a perfect location. We were right across from a beach and could bike to all of our site seeing locations. The owners of the home were quick to answer any of our questions. Our two families of 8 were perfectly comfortable in this beautiful home inside as well as outside on the spacious wrap around porch. I highly recommend this property!!

Perfect spot with amazing views!
My family rented the house for the week of my cousin’s wedding at the Sullivan house. In addition to being super convenient, the house was perfect for a family with young kids as there was plenty of room to run around outside, puzzles for rainy days, and gorgeous sunset views. Kristen was super communicative and accomodating. We will be back!!

Perfect location
The location was perfect since our son got married at the Sullivan House. Also being across the street from the beach was wonderful. The views of the great salt pond were terrific. Lots of bedrooms allowed us to host extra family. Although only one bathroom on the 2nd floor can be challenging. It wasn't the cleanest, but clearly it had the Block Island charm. We were very happy with the house.

WONDERFUL FAMILY GET A WAY
My family had a wonderful vacation renting this property. The house has nice size rooms so everyone could have their own space if needed. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen works well for large families but the best things are the fabulous views, wonderful large porch and being able to walk to the beach. Also has a large yard for the kids to play & run around. Everything we were hoping for.
Can't wait to go back. Also Kirsten the owner was always available if you had a question.
