Loved Block island. We had our first extended stay and we will definitely be back. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Location is excellent and the main reason we chose to stay here. We love the back porch and spent a lot of time relaxing there. The fire pit area is fun and we really enjoy the live music at night. Front desk staff is friendly and professional. Rooms are very clean.

I did not like that we had to ask for both a mini refrigerator and an iron. These should be standard in all rooms. Walls are thin and we could hear people in adjacent rooms much of the time but that is to be expected in an old building. Just something to be aware of. The AC unit helped drown out some of the noise.

Location and interior of the hotel were great, free coffee/tea in the morning, and nice staff.

The room was small. Be careful when choosing a room on the 3rd floor - it’s directly under the roof. The good thing was that we were moved to another room on the 2nd floor, which was much bigger. However, that room had a TV with very poor picture quality and no services like Netflix or similar platforms, only regular channels. The AC stopped working in the evening. After one call, it was turned back on, but later it stopped working again and we couldn’t turn it back on, so the room was very stuffy throughout the night. When it was working, it blew directly onto the bed, which was unpleasant. There were no outlets near the bedside tables.
