Perfect holiday. We will return!

The location is amazing. Beautiful views of the harbor on one side, ocean on the other side. Breakfast was delicious. Linda the manager was amazing. Kind and thoughtful, and a great resource.

The perfect weekend stay over at block Island.

The Sullivan house was a beautiful, relaxing place. Staff was exceptional. Breakfast was delicious. View was incredible. Great Birthday present for my boyfriend.

There was Nothing I didn’t like about the Sullivan House.

It was definitely a beautiful location. A different room would have made the stay much better.

Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Location was beautiful. Liked that beach chairs and beach towels were provided.

I was very disappointed with the room (Room 2) It was much smaller than I had expected based on photos and the sloping ceiling made it impossible to stand on that side of the bed. The sink beside the bed was very inconvenient. There was only one hook to hang up towels, exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work, and a compressor was running right under our room all night on our second night making it very difficult to sleep. Way overpriced!!!

We had the most amazing times & a very comfortable stay !

Loved the location ! It is unbeatable in terms of water views, sunrise, sunsets & last but not the least proximity to restaurants etc. staff is very friendly & helpful. We were there for two nights with friends & had the BEST times.

There was no air conditioning in one of the rooms. And the screen was missing in the bathroom & one of the bedroom windows. We opened the window to let breeze come in & the lights attracted the bugs in the bathroom.

One of the best locations on the island. Gorgeous sunsets and sunrises from the late wraparound porch.

Rooms could have been a little bigger. WiFi was slow. TV was too small and did not work. But I understand size of room. House is historic and well maintained and simple island character is very well maintained.

Beautiful view but definitely needs serious updating and was disappointing!!

The Inn is located up on a hill with a beautiful view of the marina with a big wrap around porch!

We stayed in a superior queen room with a sleeper sofa. The room was so small. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever had any where I have stayed. The main building definitely needs updating. It is old and outdated. The price for the rooms is not worth what you get. The main house needs serious TLC. It is absolutely not walking distance to town unless you are a very physically fit person. 26 Min walk at least in 90 degree weather is not enjoyable. That is one way!! Transportation is a must. The breakfast was awful. It was supposed t to be eggs Benedict but we got hard boiled eggs on an English muffin which were not edible. It is ashame because there is so much potential. I would not stay here again. I do want to say the people that work there were very accommodating and it is no reflection on them. For the price of the rooms there are better places to stay on Block.

Superb

Beautiful location on a bluff overlooking the harbor, away from the crowds of downtown but close enough to bike (1.5 mile). the beach was a short walk down the driveway and across the road. SO pleasant sitting on the large porch enjoying the ocean breeze and watching the harbor activity. The staff was top notch and very accommodating, breakfasts were delicious. The rooms are small, basic and older, as in an older home but the bed was very comfortable. We will go back there.

Nice place, bring your car or prepare to use a moped -- and do your own homework on Block Island

The view was great of the ocean and Block Island Sound, with nice chairs and a wonderful porch. The common area is beautiful. The location is near a nice beach and you can walk to a handful of restaurants. They have rules, and I sympathize -- they could easily be overwhelmed by early arrivals or those insisting to stay late.

In a small B&B, the manager (?) Linda showed no hospitality. No one returned my call from the previous day with questions, and no one picked up the phone on several calls. When we arrive, the manager didn't introduce herself as we stood there, provided no information that would have helped us avoid two, $18 cab rides to town, just told us their rules and suggested downloading their brochure. In addition to a view of the water, our room had a view of the food truck they operate being cleaned out in the parking area. And these days, even modest places offer summer guests a bottle of water. There was a container in the room, but no bottles. Even snacks were only for sale. We didn't want meat for breakfast, but the waitress was unaware of the "rules" saying they had cold cereal, yogurt, etc., and had to spend some time checking before bringing granola. (No mention of anything else.) Nice place, but no help whatsoever for a first time Block Island visitor other than "read our guidebook." Not unfriendly -- but not friendly, either.

Beautiful view. Quiet location.

Loved the sofa bed. So happy they had a room to fit 3 of us. Loved the porch. Nice breakfast. Loved the chandelier. Loved that we could rent bikes there.

The bathroom should have a little table or cabinet in it because the sink is small there's no place to put bathroom "stuff" (toothbrush, contact lens stuff, face products), we just had to put everything on the floor.

Disappointed overall.

Ocean views and sunsets.

Run down and old. Bathrooms small with rust on shower curtain rod and sink three feet off floor. WiFi and internet were off line during our three day stay. Staff were not very welcoming on check in.

Beautiful inn with comfortable accommodations and stunning views

Gorgeous inn in a stunning setting! Location was away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area but close enough that we could ride our bikes anywhere we wanted to go. Right across the street from the beach and wonderful breakfast. The porch was perfect to cool off and read a book while looking out over the water with the beautiful sailboats.

Wish we had stayed longer!

Delicious breakfast included in room rate! There was a cool breeze off the water.

Instructions on how long to leave water running in shower for it to get hot.

Would likely stay here again, but would not select the twin bed room since too cramped.

The view and tranquility of site were exceptional! Breakfasts were great start of day!

Being such a quaint location would have expected all the towels to be changed each day( we were there 2 days and needed to ask for new bath towels and hand towels were not changed either day) Needed to waste a lot of water before finally warm. Never got hot water from sink, and shower ran too long to finally be warm enough to even step in. When advertising off season, should state that there are no bar or meal services on site.( though it encouraged us to check out all that BI had to offer). - just thinking about those rainy days that one would preferred sit and read on wrap-around porch and chill out!

A beautiful building in an ideal setting. We had great views all around and we were within a 5 min walk to a very nice beach. Also loved how it looked with its gables, stone walls and wraparound porch

Our room was a bit small but we selected it because of the price. It was very cutely furnished and we figured out how to deal with the tightness.

A visit to remember - wonderful weather, excellent food and terrific site seeing

First the views were incredible- the breakfasts fantastic and the overall reception and staff was so gracious- Linda is a gem. Very close to downtown but really relaxed

Stunning views, friendly staff, comfortable homey feeling. We enjoyed the breakfast.

The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking water on both sides, with a wrap around porch. There are Adirondack chairs on the lawn overlooking the harbor.

It’s a historic property, and the room was quite small. The bathroom sink was so tiny and low on the wall. There are no shelves and no place to even put a toothbrush. No hooks in the bathroom for towels. The shower was a very small molded plastic, no frills model. The bathroom really needed some updating.

Would love to have small coffee maker in room. or brewed coffee earlier than 8:30. Adverised " bar"- didn't realize it closed so earlier. Arrived in pitch black around 8( about 1.2 miles from town and up a dark, un marked road but gorgeous!) would have brought wine or beer to sit on deck. Road to house long and pitch black- would have been unsafe to walk back to town by that time. If B&B had wine for purchase- would have bought
