About this house rental
Located in Wilmington, this charming house for $341 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Enjoy the charm of this historic cottage home. Located among the many attractions of downtown and within an easy drive to the beaches, this historic yet modern home makes for the perfect spot to enjoy everything Wilmington has to offer. And if you just want to escape and relax, you have private access to the beautiful pool oasis right outside your back door. (The pool is not heated and generally too cold to be in from late September through mid-May, but the pool remains open and the pool area can be enjoyed year round.) The historic but completely renovated home includes a comfortable living room, a dining room that seats eight, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large back deck. The two bedrooms each have their own en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. Additional sleeping is available on the fold-out sofa in the living room. The front porch, deck, courtyard, and private pool areas offer great outdoor space for enjoying coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening, as well as a great place to soak up the sun or lounge in the shade! All of historic downtown Wilmington is an easy walk from the house. There is off-street parking for two vehicles. All linens and towels are provided, including pool and beach towels. This home is not only in a prime location to enjoy Wilmington, but has everything you need to make for a relaxing getaway! Because of the outdoor space, guests often want to invite others over to join them. Small gatherings are permitted, but we ask that you inform us first if anyone not staying at the house is coming over. The house is in a residential neighborhood and we ask that our guests be courteous of our neighbors. Therefore, we don’t allow groups of more than 12 and ask hosts to monitor noise levels, particularly after 9:00pm. The number of pets allowed is limited to one well-behaved pet. We live right next door to the property, so if you have any needs or questions while you are staying, we are very easy to reach.

If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, this house is your perfect spot. The owners are so welcoming and are available for anything you may need. The pool/outdoor area is beautiful as well as the breathtaking high ceilings and kitchen. We had the best time!! Will be back for sure!

We loved "the little yellow house"! From the private backyard paradise with small hidden alcoves, to the beautifully appointed decor, and the upscale kitchen, we could not have enjoyed it more. The city had so many wonderful things to see and do but coming "home" each day to a neighborhood full of historic homes was enchanting! Chris and Matt could not have been better hosts. They were so kind and helpful!

Our entire experience was fantastic start to finish. The warmth and responsiveness of the communication was very different compared to a rental company. The owners have an outstanding property and were some of the most gracious hosts we have worked with. We enjoyed the pool, cabana, and sitting on the front porch before dinner watching the slow parade of folks making their way downtown, with is only a 10-minute walk. We were pleasantly surprised with the high quality of everything in the house. The pictures do not do it justice. A big thanks to Matt and Chris for making our visit so easy and enjoyable. Your hospitality is second to none and the we cannot wait to visit again!

The house and outdoor oasis are stunning. The amenities provided (including hand soap, pool towels, etc) make for an easy and comfortable stay. The location and walkability to shops, restaurants, and the riverwalk is unbeatable. Overall a fabulous stay. The hosts even texted us that we forgot a beloved stuffed animal and made sure we got it back before departing. We hope to stay again if we're back in Wilmington.

We booked this vacation home fornour wedding weekend. We had the best time and the house was so beautiful. It looked beauiful in the pictures but it was even better than expected. The location is amazing. The backyard is so relaxing, as soon as I got there I couldnt wait to just relax and enjoy it. I can't wait to stay again soon!

This is a return trip to this historic home and it was just as perfect as the first trip! We love that it is a quick walk into the city and also a quick trip by car to the beach. The pool was immaculate and we loved cooking fresh shrimp out on the gas grill and eating poolside. The front porch is lovely to sit out on and read and relax. Thank you very much,we will be back!

Love this house! We had 6 stay comfortably (sleeper sofa was actually really comfortable too). The backyard/pool is amazing, tons of seating, has everything you need. Awesome location as well, we walked into downtown multiple times, and it’s worth the 10-15 min walk to have this space as a home base. We’d stay again in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay at the Grace Street bungalow with our two little ones. The house was gorgeous, well-appointed, and cozy with excellent air conditioning. Location was walkable to explore downtown Wilmington and the hosts were super attentive and helpful. The pool was the absolute highlight for the kids. It was a wonderful trip!

The house is located in the historic district of Wilmington, NC. It has been lovingly & completely re-done preserving all the glory of the house while incorporating every possible convenience I've ever experienced in a VRBO home. We've been renting through them a very long time.
The house is lovely. There are a few brick stairs to enter the house but the house itself is on one floor. It has a very seriously well-equipped kitchen. I cannot imagine anything you will not have should you decide to cook.
The living room is comfortable and should you wish to watch TV there is one in each bedroom too.
The back area housing the pool & cabana area is unlike anything mere words can describe. It is private with a wooden fence in place completely enclosing the pool. It is a floral paradise with lovely plants in pots and seating for both dining & lounging. It is a saltwater pool, extremely clean and roomy. I am a beach person and so perfect was this area that I never left the pool long enough to even touch the sand at the beach. As a matter of fact, both the home and the pool area were so complete in fulfilling the needs of our vacation, that we nearly never left the property at all. I hope to find my way there again. The owners are kind souls and very nice.

The well-appointed kitchen, bathrooms and laundry made the four of us—two couples—feel at home. I always bring kitchen items when I stay at houses and condos, but I never even unpacked them because everything I needed for cooking was there and worked beautifully—even sharp knives! We walked to downtown almost every day and took short drives to the beach. I really don’t think you could pick a better location in Wilmington. Our hosts were attentive to our needs and friendly neighbors; it’s clear they care about their house and their guests. I am already planning a return trip!

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by our hosts and given a quick tour. We were instantly blown away by the house, it was so beautiful! Everything was perfect, it far exceeded our expectations! With easy access to downtown and our own personal pool and cabana, which we used everyday! Our hosts were awesome, and were available 24/7, but with every detail accounted for, we didn't need anything. It felt like home, but better! We will never stay in a hotel again, and will stay here for any future visits to Wilmington.

We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and wanted a place with a pool. And, we found a wonderful paradise! It was perfect! Matt and Chris, the hosts, were welcoming and attentive, but not intrusive. The house and pool were exactly what we were looking for and what we wanted and needed. The property is ideal, the home is perfect for a family or in our case two couples. Matt is a great host who left no detail unattended. The pool area is an oasis, it was a struggle each day to leave the wonderful pool area and explore the town. Highly recommend, it will be our go to spot every time we go to Wilmington.

We came to Wilmington for our honeymoon. This historic house was exactly what we were looking for while searching. When we got there, the owners were very nice and considerate. They went over all of the amenities and gave us options around the area to make sure we had a good time. We planned our stay around the house and loved the idea of coming back to a pool and being able to grill out. The house itself was a great to stay and felt like home. We will definitely be staying here again.
