Yi's garden villa Fischers and Kathrin

Ubytování bylo v centru starého města, ale i tak klidné. V noci po zdech ještěrky, krásní kapříci v malém jezírku. Bazén čistý a udržovaný. Personál se staral o všechno s přehledem. Velmi milý a ochotný.

Lovely base in the old town

Comfortable, relaxing, quiet, clean, centrally located place to wander around the old city and chill by the pool. I was there for 8 days, which seemed to be a lot longer than other guests, who seemed to be there for a couple of days at the most, and I felt very at home. I could read my book by the pool in peace and head out for food when I needed. Staff were attentive and friendly and I felt like I got to know them a bit more being there for a relatively long time. Their English was good, and I could even speak a bit of Chinese with the boss, which was nice. I liked the traditional elements in its design, which made use of wood and inner courtyards, to keep the place nice and cool It was exactly what I was looking for.

It doesn't have everything, e.g. a bar/restaurant to have breakfast at, a fridge in the room, power shower etc. It's quite bare bones in that respect. However, it doesn't advertise itself as being any more, and it's reflected in the price. It completely met my expectations in that respect. I didn't like the koi pond, which was far too small for the poor fish.

Not the best value for money

Very central location in the old town and very close to the popular restaurants and cafes. Nice and friendly staff.

The twin room is very very very small to be a twin room. We struggle to move around with our 2 small suitcases and backpacks. So is the tiny en-suite bathroom. The room photos definitely do not match the room in reality. We definitely wouldn't pay this much if we knew it was this small and nothing like the advertised photos. The photos of the whole "garden" and pool also make the site way bigger than it should be.

The room was comfortable, with a nice big bed and good AC. Good location in the old town, within walking distance of lots of places to eat, the markets, bars and temples. A good sized pool which is a huge bonus.

The bathroom wasn't in great condition- old and cracked walls, very weak shower, just looked a bit run- down and dirty. If possible, More loungers around the pool - there was never enough for everyone. Space is limited but some of the regular chairs could maybe be swapped out. If not, not a big deal!

The staff was incredibly good. So kind and helpful and always available to make your stay comfortable. The place was very well-located, walking distance from all the famous Temples, the weekend nigh market, and tonnes of eateries. Nice room. Clean pool and outside area.

The room was spacious, clean, friendly staff, pool was great after a long day in the heat, great location.

The only thing I can mention is on the site it stated that the room we booked would have a garden view and outdoor area, however when we arrived we stayed in the Rose Garden Villa, however there was no view or outdoor area.

Good except the payment downer

Very good located with a small pool. Our room needed some renovation but was fine. Staff is friendly and helpful.

A mosquitoe net would be very good. Fesh air will resolve in hunting down a lot of mosquitoes. Except that 500THB in cash is needed as a deposit for the keycard. !! They charge additionally 3% for Credit card. This is not communicated upfront (they send a notice 12 hours before our arrival). !!

Lovely pool, great location and excellent staff. Overall it was a good place to stay.

Room was clean, but bathroom needs a bit of a renovation. Beds are very hard, which I don't mind, but I can see western people who are used to softer beds being uncomfortable. Also wish I had a bench to put my suitcase on.

Excellent location and beautiful rooms for the price

Our room was spacious with great design details. The location was in the best area of the old city with tons of cafes and restaurants within a block or two. Blue Diamond cafe was across the street with amazing breakfast and snacks. Mr Green was nearby too, which was our fav vegan restaurant in the city. Overall great experience.

The bathroom didn’t have a vent fan, so it go bit stuffy in there. The windows in the bathroom should have had screens too to keep the mosquitos out.

Yi's Garden Villa is in a good location in the NE corner of the Old City. It is in a quiet area but very close to breakfast cafés and small bars. Our room was large and had a balcony overlooking the pool. We did a few trips, but if you can only do one, go to an elephant sanctuary. We went to Toto, fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful

great location and price friendly staff rooms of varying quality. pity about the hard mattresses.

it was fresh and open. they only had a functional standard twin when I stayed which was adequate nothing special but wi does that opened. the air con was good.

the mattress was hard - like all this class of hotel. I had to fold the spare duvet in 3 to be able to sleep on it.

Good spot for families

Location is pretty good, loads around in easy walking distance. Family room was a good size with two proper rooms.

The balcony space looked great but had an overwhelming stench of cat's pee which drove us away 5 minutes into using it.
