The house was very clean and reasonably well appointed with a tidy garden.

The location was disappointing, not enjoying any of the views for which the area is renowned. There are no directional signs from the main road to the property, which remains unnamed on the Booking.com website, nor has the property been added to any apps such as Google maps, adding to my frustration in reaching the accommodation. All I had was cryptic messaging by an off-site owner/manager called Leigh, who left several of my requests for information and help unanswered or only cryptically answered. There was no owner or manager on site to welcome me, despite my request to Leigh for directions to the property shortly before my imminent arrival. Instead I was faced with a locked house and had to go in search of an employee to let me in, and who could not answer many of my questions. So, good luck finding this place and getting into it. It set a bad tone for the rest of the visit. The water pressure in the shower was weak. The keys to the house were flimsy and did not open the padlock from within on one side, while the key to the front door on the other side did not lock the house. I had to leave the property unlocked while attending a dinner some distance away. An appeal to Leigh to have someone guard the house in this condition went unanswered.
