About this house rental
Situated in Kill Devil Hills, this lovely house for $175 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Conveniently located between the beach road and the bypass road at Milepost 8.5 in central Kill Devil Hills, this bright and inviting 3 Bedroom Home is so comfortable, the entire family will enjoy. We are dog friendly, too! Book with full confidence as this is the spot to "Seas the Day" for your OBX adventure. We are just a 5 to 8 minute walk to the Clark Street Beach Access so you can be dipping your toes in the sands and waters of the Atlantic in no time. If you prefer, we provide two beach cruiser bicycles to get to the beach even quicker! We also provide a beach caddy. Downstairs is the outside shower and bathroom along with a 6 person Hot Tub and full washer/dryer. You can also lounge the day away downstairs with a large hammock, picnic table and swing bench. Upstairs is the entry with large balcony and outdoor furniture and another stairway to our crows nest for more outdoor relaxing. The living room is open and colorful with comfortable seating. We have fast WIFI for all your devices. The kitchen is fully equipped and even has a dishwasher. You can dine up to 7 people with the table and breakfast bar seating. Each of the three bedrooms is equipped with a flat screen TV with cable and DVD/Streaming device. The master has its own bathroom with a queen sized bed, while the 2nd bedroom has its own deck with table/chairs and also has a queen sized bed. The third bedroom has a twin/double bunk bed. We also provide linen service for all bedrooms along with 2 towels and 2 washcloths per bedroom. The main bathroom with tub/shower is located in the hallway. We clean the home ourselves and ensure a sanitized process is used for your safety. A short walk across the bypass (theres even a stop light for safety) there is shopping and dining to explore. There you will find Slice Pizza, Duck Doughnuts, Try my Nuts, OBX Brewery, Roosters Southern Kitchen, Captain Georges Seafood Buffet and many gift shops. You never have to get in the car for the beach, dining and entertainment! Look no further, your perfect OBX getaway is upon you!

Seize the day is a true gem in the Outer Banks. It was perfect for our small group. It had all the amenities we could need. The house was clean and the hosts were great! We will definitely be booking again soon!

My husband, our 2 adult kids, and I stayed here for part of the holidays. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The location is very convenient and the street noise wasn't a big problem even though it is close to a major road. We walked to shops and restaurants, a nature preserve, and of course, the beach.
We were really grateful to be able to bring our dogs and the house was so welcoming to them - dog water bowls and gates to keep them on the decks. The owners were helpful and responsive. And the hot tub was perfect for relaxing on the cool evenings!

Always in love with the OBX, this cute house is a great place to stay. Clean, well-stocked, and having all the extras you might need for a beach vacation made this house the perfect fit. We also had rainy days, but with the hot tub and perfect downstairs area as well as being conveniently located next to restaurants, shops, and grocery stores, even the rainy times were pleasant. The house is cheerful and bright and we had a wonderful relaxing vacation! We would definitely come again.

Very nice and comfy and clean. Even though it rained the whole time we were there. We loved the location of the house close to everything. The hostess of the house takes pride in their house and it definitely shows. Wasn't much for children if you are thinking of going to the outer Banks more for older people. My husband and my sister and brother in law absolutely loved our mini vacation. We would definitely stay there again for sure.

The beach house was lovely. The kitchen is well stocked, and there are beach chairs/sand toys downstairs in the laundry area, which was super helpful. Public beach access is very close, but we still drove because of all the stuff. I never had a problem finding parking. We were very close to grocery stores and restaurants.

This is a super cute and comfy cottage that’s clean and cozy. We usually stay further south in Waves, but decided to stay central this time. Can’t get more central than this! It is “busier” than south, but that is expected and not surprising. I’d love to pick up this cottage and move it to Waves LOL
Even being close to the main road, it’s still pretty quiet.
We especially appreciate the dog friendliness of the rental and the porches. The suggestions for restaurants and shopping was useful and thoughtful.
One suggestion- if you’re a recipe cooker bring some measuring cups and spoons. ;)
Otherwise, great place and we’d definitely stay again.

This house was perfect for our needs- we did a spring break trip with my 75yo mom, my spouse, our 12yo child, and our senior dog. The house was comfy and well stocked, and we really enjoyed the hot tub, fantastic location, and spacious feel. We were able to explore the entire OBX, from the northern end of Corolla all the way down south to Ocracoke Island during our weeklong stay, so this was a great central location for us to use as a base. Short walk to public beach, close to a LOT of delicious restaurants, and nice and quiet and comfy inside. We would definitely stay here again :)

My family is a very hard working one, and we needed a break to decompress. This location was perfect for us. We brought our dogs (so the entire family was together), the home is so comfortable, space for all of us, hot tub and bikes. Loved the outdoor showers too. Close to everything. Once we parked, we did not have to get into the vehicles again. We totally enjoyed our stay at Seas the Day and will definitely come back!!!!

The property was as advertised, very comfortable and homey. We enjoyed the central location of the home and being able to walk to restaurants and the beach. The beach is a little farther than we thought, but still able to walk to. The owners were very nice to check on us during our stay and enabled us have a later check out time, thanks for that!

The kids had no school on Friday and Monday, so it gave us an opportunity to get out of town for a mini-vacay. This was a great spot. Everything was very clean and in working condition. Walking distance to the beach and some really cool restaurants. We didn't use the hot tub as much as we would've liked because of the kiddos, but it was nice when we got in. Sitting on the 3 balconies was great to just relax while the kids played. Fun Zone was close by as well for them. We would definitely choose this location again if we decided to come back down to OBX.

Wife and I stayed a week with our dog. House is well stocked with everything that you need. You can head to any of the nearby grocery stores if you want to cook for yourself. If not, there are plenty of eateries within walking distance to the house. Outdoor areas are perfect for relaxing outside. There are two beach access points within a short walk from the rental. The property owners a very responsive and helpful with any questions that may arise.
