pool was lovely, house was great. Good location.

the house wasn't very well stocked. our booking was for several days and they provided one roll of toilet paper, no arrival water, one set of towels. no basic kitchen supplies either. there was a supermarket close by but it was a bit cheap to provide nothing for such a long booking.

Very good value for a large private house and pool in PDC.

We stayed in Luis 4. We loved the amount of space available in the property, and the equipment available in the kitchen. The pool area was lovely and private. The cleaning service was very good and the pool guy was friendly. There were a decent number of English language television channels available. The proximity to Lidl is very good. The seating in the lounge area was very nice.

It is a noisy location by a major road, which didn't bother us too much. The pool was dirty on the tiles around the edges, leaving black marks on our hands. The patio furniture was very uncomfortable and could not be used, but the sunbeds were fine. A shaded area, canopy or parasol would have been nice to have. The shower unit was coming away from the wall. Access for disabled people is very bad on nearby roads. We hired a mobility scooter and it was almost impossible to use it due to lack of dropped kerbs. That's a problem with the locality in general, not this villa.

Great villa

The villa was very clean and spacious. We were sent a lot of information from Luis about the villa eg safe code, door code, wifi when we arrived. The villa has great facilities, dishwasher, washing machine, English tv channels. The pool was cleaned twice in the two weeks we stayed there. The cleaners come in for 3 hours and you have to leave but they said if we just wanted clean towels and bedding then they would leave it at the door which they did. The outside area is lovely and the pool is nice but was a bit cold. You do need to walk to get to the old town and stripe but we didn’t mind, have a few pub stops, but lots of people might want to get taxis. Lidl is 2 minutes away. The bathrooms are tired and in need of an update but still clean. We would definitely book again.

Everything was lovely. The room in the basement was a bit dark but we didn’t use the basement room. There is another bathroom in the basement.

A lot of improvement required

Fantastic location with a short distance to all amenities and town centre. Very quiet and relaxing. The pool is heated with a nice, comfortable temperature.

Beds were extremely squeeky and uncomfortable. Living room and bedroom balcony doors both leaked terribly when it was raining (we had to use all our towels to stop the leak). Very low water pressure in the shower. We had to clean the bbq before using it as it was disgustingly dirty. We’ve booked this accommodation for 4 people for 5 nights and we were given 2 bath towels and 2 hair towels as well as only 2 rolls of toilet roll. No hair dryer, no pool towels, no bathroom toiletries i.e. shower gel, shampoo, etc, no salt or pepper or any other basic amenities expected in a self catering accommodation. Having previously stayed multiple times in self catering villas we have always been provided with basic amenities like salt, pepper, washing powder, toiletries, extra towels, kitchen roll, etc therefore lack of basic facilities was extremely disappointing.

Good stay, suitable for what we required.

spacious, clean and tidy. Good communication and detailed instructions from Luis, prompt reply to iron out initial issues with wifi and hot water. Pool temperature ok, sun most of the day on the patio in Casa Luis 1.

Although easily walkable to beaches etc in about 15 -20 minutes, we’ve previously stayed closer and found it a bit far out for our preference. There was a “rotten or stagnant” smell on the patio or from the wasteland over the wall, that possibly attracted more flies than would be expected.

Perfect

Villa was perfect. It was bigger than we thought. It was advertised as a 2 bedroom but there was actually 4 bedrooms. Large outside area with a heated pool. Nice sitting room with TV, open plan with a dining room table and kitchen. The location was about 5-10 minute walk downhill towards the harbour. Taxi back up from the harbour/beach was only 3 or 4 euro.

large villa, private pool, fantastic location, very private, large balconies,lots of sunbeds, fantastic utility area with washing machine and good communication and info from host. Happy with cleanliness but could be improved. taxi services fantastic and cheap

pool advertised as heated but pool heating system cuts off at 4.30pm and only reaches max temp of 28c which for january is not high enough especially as the pool is in shade from 2.00pm onwards..which also makes it unusable on the evening as it doesnt retain the heat and even if it was up to a higher temp, there is not sufficent outside lighting around pool area to make it safe enough to use on the evening, its in darkness.... not enough batteries for remote controls for tv (we had to purchase more), no heating system in villa so again as its january villa was very cold on the evening and had to buy halogen heaters costing £50(we left the heaters behind for future vistiors). chips on two of the marble stairs(not child friendly), missing curtain in living area, no parasol outside.
