It was great!

The service, water bottles in the room, the Nespresso, a very comfy robe to use and slippers. The feather pillows and bed were comfy. The location was great! Clean room, and the room was cleaned daily. Love the soap smells! Thank you.

Our view was of another buildings wall, but the room amenities made up for that.

Big comfortable room in a big city

Huge room, lots of storage, very comfortable, awesome bar

Some of the reception staff weren't very welcoming. Sliding bathroom door has no lock.

Great location, nice rooms!

Great location, right on Michigan ave and across from the cloud gate. Close to the magnificent mile. Lobby was very nice and has a restaurant/bar. Room was clean and updated, bathroom was also very nice. Room has a fridge as well.

Like other reviews, the heat/air did blow directly on the bed but personally liked that!

Good hotel, poor staff

The room was not ready at check-in time. They gave us a different room that was a lower tier than the upgraded room we booked.

There for the Chicago Marathon - great location, modern room with fantastic views of Grant Park.

Room had a fantastic view of Grant Park and central location on Michigan Avenue.

Little bit of noise transfer between rooms. I think it is the metal transition at the window that is not acoustically rated.

Very nice hotel with good location

The bed and pillows were great. The gowns, steamer, bar fridge, Nespresso coffee machine and umbrella was a nice addition. Location is amazing - basically across the road from Millenium Park, 15mins walk to the Navy peer, you can walk up Michigan to the Mag Mile, River Walk is just a few blocks away. Waterberry and Eggys are just up the road for breakfast and lunch. We really enjoyed out stay.

Felt tricked by staff who said we could check in early but then failed to mention that there was a charge also gave us a free drink which wasn’t actually free!

Room faced a wall of a building BUT I realized after one day there, that we were out all day, exhausted at night and didn’t even look out.

The stay was ok because of the location but the price of our overall stay was overrated.

The location was nice.

the King rooms were very small and not as clean as I'd prefer. The bar inside the hotel was very pricey and overrated.

Not recommended. There are several better places in Chicago.

It is well located.

The staff. Non polite and not well prepared. The check-in was at 4 pm and check out at 11 AM ( so unfair!). Our room - at 5 pm on the 2nd day - was not cleaned by the cleaner. We asked twice to the reception without success. Then we spoke with the manager.

City-weekend break from working in Chicagoland.

The room was nice, surprisingly large for a big-city hotel, with comfortable bed and pillows, well-working bathroom. The hotel location is close to the loop, Millennium Park, museums, shops, restaurants, the River Walk and the L. Parking options are plenty within walking distance.

If anything, then the need to purchase parking from other providers. I did not check out the in-house breakfast offering at ALK; however, breakfast options are within a block or two of the hotel.

Good. my 3rd time at this hotel.

I booked a taxi & walked out onto the front sidewalk. When my taxi didnt arrive: I asked why not. After two times, I discovered that taxis arrive at "back" end of hotel. No-one told me taxis are out back !! Not obvious to anyone..
