Casa de Monte Vista means "House with the mountain view." Our property sits at the base of a 10,000 ft mountain providing majestic views. We have four individual poolside casitas with private entrances, covered patios, king bed, kitchenette (or full kitchen), tile bathrooms with walk-in showers, wifi and Apple TV. All private Casitas are near the solar-heated warm salt-water pool and spa, lounge and outdoor cafe/bar on 1 acre of botanical garden grounds. We are close to family-friendly activities and nightlife. Located only 6 blocks from downtown Palm Springs, museums, shopping, restaurants and bars, we are a favorite place to stay during the Mid Century Modern Week, Coachella Music Festival and other local events. Nestled in the historic Old Las Palmas area of Palm Springs, we are one of the original properties built in Palm Springs during the late 1920s. This Old Spanish estate captures the secluded, nostalgic charm that originally defined Palm Springs. Once owned by Robert Stack in the 1950-60s, the property was a common gathering place for the Rat Pack during the 60's.
