Our home has a Modern Stainless Steel kitchen with dishwasher, modern tiled Bathroom with full tub/shower, also Outdoor Shower, Wireless Internet, Flat Screen TV, Streaming TV programming, mini split Air conditioning, WASHER & DRYER All right on your own beach. This Cottage is labeled in the photos as "COTTAGE A." Also, adjacent cottage can be rented for your extended family see VRBO # 108681 for details. Each cottage has a separate gated entrances from the driveway and separate outdoor spaces. Enjoy your own beachfront or walk down the street to the town beach. Views can not be beat! If you are arriving by AIR, and not AUTO, check with Host regarding linens and towels which are not provided.

This home is spotlessly clean, updated, and in a great location! Incredibly well taken care of and decorated. You can NOT beat the ocean views (pictures truly do not do it justice) and the beach access path is so convenient. We also received tons of helpful communication from the owner that answered any questions we may have had before we even thought of them. Check in/out was a breeze. We’re hoping to stay again in the future!

We loved this beachfront cottage! It was charming, clean and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation at the beach! The view of the ocean made it hard to leave! Fun watching the surfers every morning! The owner gave great recommendations for restaurants and things to do! We can’t wait to come back again!

This sweet cottage provided everything needed for a wonderful restful week. The cottage was clean and cozy, conveniently located to food, coffee, ice cream and more. The kids spent endless hours on boogie boards in the waves and beachcombing for rocks and seaglass. We would definitely return!

This beachfront cottage is better than you can imagine . You get to see & hear the ocean waves from inside & out. It's like living on the beach and you truly are just steps away! The layout & furnishings are terrific & it's the best location with surfers out every morning. The hostess is Great. She provides thorough information & is helpful and responsive if you have questions or needs. This was my second time to stay here & I hope for many more!!

My husband and I stayed the first week of June with our two small children. We didn’t have the best weather but enjoyed the beach and salty air. The house is smaller than we expected. The first bedroom only has room for a queen bed and some cubbies. I would also bring extra pillows because there is only 4 and I enjoy having two pillows. You are paying for the view and access to a private beach which we used every day. The water view is stunning and listening to the waves and playing in the sand made our vacation memorable. It was a great stay. Thank you again!

My spouse and I stayed at this fantastic property for 3 nights for some rest and relaxation. Communication with Barbara, the owner, was excellent and she kept us well-informed with everything we needed to know about our stay.
The location right on the beach is amazing! The ocean views and sounds of the surf were wonderful, whether we were on the beach, relaxing in the comfortable chairs on the patio, or sitting inside the cottage looking out towards Block Island. One suggestion to guests is to bring water shoes for wading in the water, as the shoreline is very rocky.
The cottage itself was super cute and everything was very clean and comfortable.
Overall, everything about our stay was excellent and we definitely hope to return.

We returned to Barbara's home in Matunuck because it is such a great place and location, and she has always been a responsive owner - a pleasure to coordinate with. Looking forward to another long weekend soon!

This was our second year staying at this property. Everything was perfect like last year. No issues or problems the whole week! The manager was great and very good with communication. My husband, two kids (under 5) and I stayed and had a blast. The beach in front is nice and there are great restaurants around. There are great fishing spots around as well. Everything was very clean. We love this spot and hope to continue the tradition each year.

We absolutely loved this location. It’s really very special. You can enjoy the sights and sounds of the beach from the living room and the patio with all the conveniences of home. The beach was beautiful too - nature in its pure form. We grew to love the pebbly beach, which glistens in the sun and forces you to slow down. Also the sunsets are so colorful and magical. I can see why so many young families come here every year - it’s really a classic summer experience and we’re grateful for our stay. We can’t wait to book again for next summer.

Beautiful spot, clean home, gorgeous views! Would recommend bringing extra pillows as only 1 semi- flat pillow was provided for each bed. Highly recommend getting reservations at the Matunuck Oyster House. Close to many wonderful beaches. Would definitely recommend!

It pains me to leave such a positive review for this gem as I’d love to have it be available whenever I liked. Clean and well provisioned, this lovely cottage on the beach was exactly what the family and I wanted when we considered renting a waterfront property for our vacation. Close to all attractions, the views and access to the water made this a memorable vacation for all of us. Would definitely love the opportunity to stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay at the ocean. Relatively small, semi-private (but somewhat rocky) beach was easily accessible from the cottage. Only surprise was that one of the two “bathrooms” in the listing turned out to be an outdoor shower, so the single indoor facility needed to be shared by 4 guests. But Barbara was a most accommodating host!

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable beach house! It was extremely clean and beautifully appointed, and so relaxing! It was absolutely wonderful to be right on the beach as it made it so easy to for my kiddos (ages 3 and 8) to come in and out as needed. The house had everything that we could possibly need. This was a gorgeous location and we would love to come back next year!

We had a wonderful stay here by the ocean. This house has all the amenities to make for a perfect getaway. Between the panoramic views and comfortable accommodations we were able to relax and recharge! Definitely will return!

This cottage is the perfect location for relaxing on the beach. The house was very clean, modern, well equipped and spacious, and the location couldn't have been better! You have your own private beach, and it's also a short walk or bike ride away from other area beaches and restaurants.

The views were spectacular! We were secluded enough (especially during a pandemic), yet close enough to grocery stores, markets, and scenic drives. We walked to the ice cream and surf shops right down the street. This was a cozy home away from home in an amazingly peaceful and gorgeous setting! Place was clean...outdoor shower was a bonus!
