Friendly and obliging staff. Room was very clean and well equipped, and evening meal/breakfast were very good.
Being a pub in an old building by a main road, it was inevitably a little noisy overnight. It was also a warm night and we were unable to get much ventilation from the windows as they had a double box construction. However, an electric fan was thoughtfully supplied.
