Loved the unique quirky, eccentric style - rooms are cosy, comfortable and well appointed. Evening meal was delicious, accompanied by an ice cold draft lager. The Yard Breakfast was outstanding, served with a robust mug of coffee. I would go back just for the food. But it was much more than that. Ryan and the team made me feel very welcome and went out of their way to accommodate a very late checkout. Really felt more like home-from-home than a hotel.
The heat pump in the courtyard was periodically disturbing during an otherwise silent night and the bed, although comfortable, could have been firmer with quieter springs.

The breakfast was excellent. I had a twin-bed room on my own. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept well. The decor and fittings had obviously been done as cheaply as possible, using what was available and the back wall was painted 'wriggly tin!
There were a few minor problems, the wash basin plug did not fit and there were no teaspoons for example, but overall it provided what was required for my short one-night stay.
